MAH MBA CET 2024 Exam Day Guidelines: The MAH MBA CET 2024 exam for March 9 has been concluded and the exams for March 10, & 11, 2024 are being conducted. The MAH MBA CET is one of the most popular MBA entrance exams in India conducted for admission to the postgraduate management courses offered by the MBA colleges in Maharashtra with more than one lakh students applying for it. To get through this exam with flying colors, MBA aspirants need fool-proof preparation that includes studying from the best books, taking mock tests, solving previous years' question papers, following a strict schedule, and more.

MAH MBA CET is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra once a year to provide admission into MBA/MMS courses. Candidates who are all set to take the exam must refer to the following MAH MBA CET 2024 exam day guidelines to avoid any last-minute hassle.

1. Do Not Forget Your Admit Card

The admit card is one of the crucial documents for any exam. Thus, students must carry their MAH MBA CET 2024 admit card while going for the exam. Taking a printout of the admit card 2-3 days before the exam is a good idea in order to avoid any trouble at the last moment. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam center without the MAH MBA CET admit card. Also, no soft copies will not be allowed inside the exam hall.

2. Be on Time

Candidates are advised to reach the exam center on time for a smooth entry to the exam hall and begin the test without any stress. Those who are late will not be permitted to sit in the exam. Candidates can check the exam timings as well as the exam center allotted to them from the admit card.

3. Adhere to the Invigilator’s Instructions

It is important to listen carefully to the instructions provided by the Invigilator. Not listening to the instructions provided by the Invigilator can lead to confusion and you may miss out on something important. In case you face any issues related to logging in, finding an allotted seat, and or others during the exam, you should immediately bring it to the notice of your invigilator.

4. Manage Your Time Wisely

Applicants should note that the total duration of the MAH MBA CET 2024 exam is 150 minutes and no extra time will be allotted to any candidate. Thus, it is advised to manage your time wisely so that you get enough time for all the sections of the exam. 5. Read the Instructions Provided on the Admit Card

Candidates are advised to read the instructions provided on the admit card. Important details regarding your exam center, reporting time, exam time, and others are given in the admit card. 9. Use Sheets for Rough Work and Calculations

Students appearing for the MAH MBA CET 2024 exam have to do the rough work on the sheets provided to them. They should not write anything on the admit card and ID card. Candidates should note that they will have to return the rough sheets to the Invigilator once the exam is over.

10. Check the Seating Arrangement

Once the candidates reach the examination center, the very first thing they must do is check their seating arrangement. Details of the seating arrangement will be mentioned either on the notice board or inside the exam center. Candidates are advised to sit only on the seats allotted to them. If you face any issue in finding your allocated seat, you must ask for help from the invigilator.

MAH MBA CET 2024 General Information & Instructions

Candidates taking the MAH MBA CET 2024 exam must be familiar with the following information as well as instructions:

  • The time for the test is 2 hours and 30 minutes; however, candidates may have to be at the venue for approximately 4 hours including the time required for logging in, collecting the Hall Ticket, going through the instructions, etc.

  • All tests will be provided in English. Candidates can attempt any question at any point in time within these 150 minutes.

  • All the questions will have multiple choices.

  • Out of the five answers to a question only one will be the correct answer. Candidates have to select the most appropriate answer and ‘mouse click’ that alternative that they feel is appropriate/correct. The alternative/ option that they have clicked on will be treated as their answer to that question.

  • There will be no penalty for wrong answers. However, candidates are advised not to mark answers by random guessing.

  • The conduct of a re-exam is at the absolute discretion of the test conducting body. Candidates will not have any claim for a re-test.

  • The decision of the State CET Cell in all matters relating to the conduction of CET will be final and binding on the candidate.

  • Candidates have to produce original photo identity proof along with the MAH MBA CET Admit Card 2024 while attending the examination, without which they will not be allowed to take the examination.
  • Candidates must note that the name appearing on the Hall Ticket (provided during the process of registration) should match the name appearing on the photo identity proof. Female candidates who have changed their first/last/middle name post-marriage must take special note of this. If there is any mismatch between the name indicated in the Hall Ticket and Photo Identity Proof the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the examination. In case of candidates who have changed their name, will be allowed only if they produce an original Gazette notification / their original marriage certificate/affidavit in original.
  • If the examination is held in more than one session, the scores across various sessions will be equated to adjust for slight differences in difficulty level.

  • The visually impaired candidates and candidates whose writing speed is adversely affected permanently for any reason can use their own scribe at their cost during the online examination.

  • State CET Cell would be analyzing the responses (answers) of individual candidates with those of other candidates to detect patterns of similarity of right and wrong answers. If in the analytical procedure adopted by State CET Cell in this regard, it is inferred/ concluded that the responses have been shared and scores obtained are not genuine/ valid, State CET Cell reserves the right to disqualify the candidature of the concerned candidates and the result of such candidates (disqualified) will be null & void.

How to Answer Questions in the MAH MBA CET 2024 Paper?

It is imperative for the MAH MBA CET 2024 test-takers to answer the questions in the following manner:

  • Answers to any question will be considered for final evaluation, only when candidates have submitted the answers by clicking on “Save & Next” or “Mark for Review & Next”.

  • The Marked for Review status acts as a reminder that candidates have set to look at the question again.

  • Candidates may click on the question number on the question palette at the right of their screens to go to that numbered question directly.

  • To change an answer to a question, candidates must first select the question and then click on the new answer option followed by a click on the Save & Next button.

  • Only those questions that are saved or marked for review after answering will be considered for evaluation.
