To secure direct second-year admission in engineering diploma courses , candidates must meet specific eligibility requirements. According to the official Maharashtra DSD CAP Admission 2024 notification, applicants need to have passed 10+2 with certain specifications or have completed 2 years in ITI after passing the 10th standard. Before moving on to the registration process, candidates need to understand the eligibility criteria for admissions. The eligibility criteria for Maharashtra DSE CAP Admission 2024 for Direct Second Year of Post SSC Diploma in Engineering and Technology are as follows:

  • The candidate should be an Indian National.
  • Passed 10+2 examination with the following subjects:

    • Must have a minimum of one year full-time/regular working experience.

The Maharashtra DSD Centralized Admission Process for 2024 has begun.Given below are step-by-step instructions to help you through the registration process:

  • Go to the official website of the Maharashtra DSD CAP dsd24.dtemaharashtra.gov.in
  • On the left bar, click on the "New Candidate Registration" link.
  • Fill in the required details such as name, mobile number, and email ID.
  • Create a password for your account and re-enter it for confirmation.
  • Click on "Register"
  • Verify your email and mobile number through the OTP sent to your registered contact details.
  • Log in with your application ID and password. Enter the Captcha as required.
  • After successfully logging in, you'll be redirected to a page to select from: E-Scrutiny or Physical Scrutiny.
  • Select the mode of scrutiny based on your convenience in online filling & confirming the application form.
  • Complete the application form with personal, academic, and contact details.
  • Upload scanned copies of the required documents:
    • Indian Nationality Certificate
    • SSC Mark Sheet
    • HSC/ITI (2-year duration) Mark Sheet
    • Leaving Certificate issued by the last institute
    • Domicile Certificate
    • Certificate from the Employer in the pro forma
    • Caste/Tribe Certificate (if applicable)

All eligible candidates who submit their application forms on or before the specified last date will be assigned a merit number. The merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination, the percentage of aggregate marks obtained at SSC or any other criteria specified from time to time. Candidates are required to specify their preferences for courses and institutions before the respective CAP Rounds in the online option form.

  • Candidates can access and fill out the online option form through their login credentials.
  • Candidates must fill in the institute choice code against each option number in the online option form. They can fill in a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 300 options.
  • Candidates should mention their preferred institutes and courses in descending order of preference.
  • It is mandatory for all candidates to confirm their online option form once filled out before moving further to the counselling process. Upon confirmation, candidates cannot change their choices.

Maharashtra DSD Seat Allotment Result 2024

The Maharashtra direct second-year engineering admission 2024-25 is conducted through the CAP Counselling (Common Admission Process). Only candidates whose names appear on the final merit list of CAP are eligible to participate in the counselling rounds for seat allotment.
