The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell carries out the M.Planning Centralized Admission Process every year for CEED and GATE qualified candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra M.Plan CAP 2021

The detailed eligibility criteria to apply for Maharashtra M.Plan CAP 2021 have been discussed below -

Maharashtra State/All India Candidates

  • The applicants should be citizens of India

  • Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Geography, Civil Engineering, Architecture or Planning from any reputed university/institution

  • The applicants must have secured at least 50% aggregate in their respective qualifying degree examinations (45% for Backward Class categories, Economically weaker section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State)

  • Applicants must have obtained non-zero positive score in the CEED examination/qualifying marks in the GATE examination

Sponsored Candidates

  • Applicants with a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm or company or industry or educational and/ or research institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field

NRI / OCI/ PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National

  • Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Geography, Civil Engineering, Architecture or Planning from any reputed university/institution

  • The applicants must have secured at least 50% aggregate in their respective qualifying degree examinations

How to Register for Maharashtra M.Plan CAP 2021

The registration process for Maharashtra M.Plan Centralized Admission Process begins with the release of the application forms for the same. The Maharashtra State CET Cell also releases a brochure on its official website which contains all the details regarding the M.Plan admission process along with the application form.

Once the aspirants have gone through the detailed eligibility criteria mentioned above, they can proceed to fill up the online application form for Maharashtra M.Plan CAP. While filling up the online application forms for Maharashtra M.Plan CAP, the applicants have to furnish their basic personal details like name, address, email address, mobile number etc. During the registration process, the applicants also have to choose a password for their candidate account. Finally, the applicants have to upload copies of their important documents and certificates, recent passport-sized photographs, signatures and submit the application form fee to conclude the Maharashtra M.Plan CAP application process.

Maharashtra M.Plan CAP 2021 Merit List

The Maharashtra M.Plan CAP merit list is prepared by the State CET Cell officials and released on the official website of the State CET Cell. Those candidates whose name appear on the Maharashtra M.Plan CAP merit list are the ones who are eligible to participate in the centralized admission process. The officials, first, release a provisional merit list and after considering all the objections raised against the provisional merit list by the candidates, releases the final merit list. The candidates cannot submit their objections against the preliminary Maharashtra M.Plan CAP merit list after the last date to do so is over. The candidates must also know that their name on the merit list does not guarantee their admission. It is only for the purpose of providing the relative position of the candidates.

Maharashtra M.Plan CAP 2021 Option Form

Once the officials make the Maharashtra M.Plan CAP merit list public through the official website of the State CET Cell, they release the Maharashtra M.Plan CAP option form. Those who are selected for the next round of the admission process or those who find their names on the merit list have to fill the option form. In the Maharashtra M.Plan CAP option form, the candidates are required to provide their college choices in decreasing order of priority. Once the candidates are done with providing their college choices in their respective option forms, they have to save and lock them and provide their application number and password to submit their options finally. Then they are required to log out of the portal.

Maharashtra M.Plan CAP 2021 Seat Allotment

The Maharashtra M.Plan CAP seat allotment process is carried in multiple stages. Those candidates who find their names on the Maharashtra M.Plan merit list and have filled the option form are eligible to take part in the Maharashtra M.Plan CAP seat allotment process.

The candidates are not offered options such as “ Freeze ” or “ Float ” like other reputed seat allotment process. Here, if any candidate has been offered a seat of his/her first preference, then he/she has to accept the seat and carry out the final steps of the admission process to confirm their admission. In case a candidate has not been allocated a seat of his/her first preference, he/she can either accept the seat and yet wait for the result of the next round of seat allotment result for a better option or let go of the allocated seat and wait for a better seat.

In order to confirm their seats, the candidates are required to visit their respective institutions, get their documents verified and submit the prescribed admission fee to complete the admission process.

Hello Durgesh, the cut-off for admission to K.K. Wagh College of Nursing is based on the marks obtained in the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) for Nursing. The MHT CET for Nursing is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE). The cut-off for admission to each branch at K.K.
