The CAT VARC Syllabus 2024 includes Para-jumbles, Sentence completion, Inferences, Odd one-out, Syllogism and Analogies, one-word substitution, and Sentence Correction. Verbal Reasoning topics are also covered under the CAT VARC syllabus.
The maximum score for the CAT exam is 198. The marking scheme in CAT awards 3 marks for a correct answer. 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect question. Non-MCQs do not carry any negative markings. No marks are given or deducted for unattempted questions.
