Mizoram TET 2025 exam is scheduled for August 20, 2025, and eligible students can download their admit cards from July 28 onwards.

Mizoram TET (MTET) 2025

The Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) has officially released the MTET 2025 notification on April 15. Mizoram TET 2025 application window was opened on the same day at mbseonline.com. The registrations closed on May 24, 2025, and a list of eligible and rejected candidates was released on July 25, 2025. The Mizoram TET 2025 exam will be conducted on August 20, 2025. Paper I will be held from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon, while Paper II will be from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Mizoram TET 2025 admit card has been made available for download from July 28, 2025. The Mizoram TET examination, or the Mizoram Teacher Eligibility Test, is conducted by the Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) to recruit teachers for Primary and Upper Primary Classes. Students are eligible to apply for the MTET 2025 examination if they have completed their Bachelor’s with at least 45% marks. This state-level exam is usually conducted once a year, and students are required to take this exam in the offline or pen-and-paper mode. Eligibility Criteria for Mizoram TET 2025

Students willing to get teaching positions in Mizoram Primary and Upper Primary schools should hold an educational qualification as specified in the Mizoram TET information bulletin. The Mizoram TET exam is divided into Paper I and Paper II. The Paper I exam is for Primary teachers, and the Paper II exam is for Upper Primary teachers. The eligibility criteria for Primary and Upper Primary teachers are given below:

Primary Teachers – Category I

  • Paper I exam is conducted for the Primary Teachers category in Mizoram TET.
  • Students who have passed Class 12 with 45-50% of marks, D.EI.Ed with 50% of marks, or B.EI.Ed with 50% of marks is eligible to appear for the Paper I exam of Mizoram TET.
  • As per the latest NCTE rules, students who have passed B.Ed with 50% of marks can also apply for primary teacher posts. Therefore, these students can also apply for Paper I of Mizoram TET.
  • Candidates who have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) with 50% marks and passed or are appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
  • Candidates who have cleared Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or are appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.)

Upper Primary Teachers – Category II

  • Mizoram TET Paper II is conducted for upper primary teachers.
  • Students who have passed B.A, B.Sc., or B.Com with 45-50% of marks and B.Ed with 50% of marks are eligible to apply for the Paper II exam of Mizoram TET.
  • Students with a Master’s degree and B.Ed can also apply for the Paper II exam.
  • Students who have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor's in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
  • Candidates are eligible if they have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
  • Candidates must have a Graduation degree with at least 50% marks and passed or will be appearing in the 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)

Mizoram TET 2025 Application Fee

Students willing to apply for the Mizoram TET form are required to use the accessible MBSE online official portal at www.mbseonline.com to pay the application fee and obtain the Mizoram TET application form and information bulletin. Mizoram TET 2025: Minimum Qualifying Marks

As per the MTET 2025 information bulletin, the minimum qualifying marks for the MTET exam are mentioned below:

  • Students who score 55% or more in the MTET examination will be considered as MTET pass.
  • Students securing 55% and above marks will be issued an Eligibility Certificate.

Documents Required to Mizoram TET Application Form 2025

The students must affix the photograph in the Mizoram TET 2023 application form. Along with the application form, the students must submit Xerox copies of all the documents mentioned in the Mizoram TET 2023 information bulletin. Most probably, the students must submit Xerox copies of Class 12 certificate, D.EI.Ed / B.Ed certificate, and UG certificate or mark sheet. Students pursuing final-year D.EI.Ed/ B.Ed must submit the documents as specified in the information bulletin of Mizoram TET 2025.

How to Fill Mizoram TET Application Form 2025?

Students filling out the Mizoram TET application form in an offline mode can refer to the steps below to obtain and fill out the application form –

  • Visit the MBSE office
  • Go to the relevant counter to deposit the Mizoram TET application fee and obtain the application form.
  • After the payment of the application fee, the official will issue the Mizoram TET application form and information bulletin.
  • Read the information bulletin, which consists of details about eligibility, application filling guidelines, syllabus, exam pattern, etc.
  • Fill out the application form with a ballpoint pen as per the instructions mentioned in the information bulletin of Mizoram TET.
  • Affix the passport-size photograph wherever necessary.
  • You should provide your signature on the application form wherever necessary.
  • After filling out the application form, crosscheck all the details.
  • Submit the application form at the MBSE office within the specified date.
  • After submitting the Mizoram TET application form, the official at the counter will issue an acknowledgment.
  • Preserve the acknowledgment and fee payment receipt for future reference.
  • Students can refer to the information bulletin for any other queries on application form filling.

Mizoram TET 2025 Admit Card

The Mizoram TET 2025 admit card was made accessible from July 28, 2025, on the MBSE's official website. After the application form is turned in person at the MBSE office or by mail, the Mizoram Board of School Education may issue admit cards for the Mizoram TET. The admit card will be mailed two weeks prior to the test if the MBSE does not issue one after the application form is submitted. Students should therefore be concerned or in a panic regarding the Mizoram TET admit card's availability. Details like the exam date, exam location, exam timings, and student information will all be included on the Mizoram TET admit card.

Mizoram TET Syllabus for Paper I and Paper II

Mizoram TET syllabus for Papers 1 & 2 will be available on the official information bulletin of Mizoram TET. The students must note that the syllabus for Mizoram TET will be similar to the CTET examination. More details are elaborated below.

  • Students can refer to B.Ed/ D.Ed textbooks for Child Development and Pedagogy.
  • For Language I, the students can refer Class 6 to 10 language syllabus of the Mizoram Board of School Education. The syllabus will mostly have grammar topics associated with Language I.
  • For Language 2 – English, the students can refer Wren and Martin High School English Grammar and Composition Book, and practice the exercises for the topics such as Tenses, Active and Passive Voice, One Word Substitutes, Antonyms, Synonyms, Direct and Indirect Speech, Parts of Speech and Idioms.
  • Mathematics and Environmental Studies in Paper 1 will be based on basics, and the syllabus will be only up to the primary level.
  • For Paper 2, Mathematics/ Social Studies/ Science syllabus will be based on Class 6 to 10 syllabus of Mizoram Board of School Education.
  • Apart from the above, students appearing for Paper 2 must refer to teaching methodology books of Maths/ Science/ Social Studies.

Mizoram TET Answer Key 2025

The answer key for Mizoram TET 2025 will be released on the official website of MBSE a couple of days after the completion of the exam. Mizoram TET answer key will help the students to estimate his/her score in the exam. Through the answer key, the students may figure out whether they have cleared Mizoram TET or not. Students will be allowed to file objections on the Mizoram TET answer key if any. The final answer key of Mizoram TET will be released a few days before the announcement of result.

Mizoram TET Result 2025

Mizoram TET results 2025 will be released by the Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) after the exam. The results of Mizoram TET 2025 will be available on the official website of MBSE. However, MBSE will release the MTET 2025 results in PDF format. The students can check the results through the official website, and the admit card or hall ticket number of Mizoram TET 2025 is mandatory to check the results. MBSE has published the list of students who have qualified and not qualified in the Mizoram TET 2025 exam. The results of some students have been withheld, as these students failed to produce accurate/ correct/ proper documents along with the application form. Selection Procedure of Mizoram TET 2025

There is no set selection process for Mizoram TET. Only those students who achieve the minimum cutoff scores or percentage specified by the MBSE will be deemed qualified. The Mizoram TET information bulletin contains the cutoff marks, which have not yet been clarified by MBSE. In order to pass the TET, students in the General Category typically need to receive 60% of the possible points. Other categories will have different cutoff percentages. The TET score will be taken into consideration when hiring teachers.

Mizoram TET 2025 Certificate Validity

Students who have passed the Mizoram TET are given eligibility certificates by the MBSE. Unless otherwise specified by the appropriate government, the Mizoram TET certificate is good for life. The number of attempts a student may make to earn the MTET certificate is not limited.
