NIT Rourkela GATE Cutoff 2025

NIT Rourkela GATE Cutoff 2025: NIT Rourkela GATE 2025 cutoff will be released during the CCMT counselling at ccmt.admissions.nic.in after each round of seat allotment. Those who score equal to or higher than the IT Rourkela MTech cutoff will have better chances of admission. The expected NIT Rourkela GATE cutoff 2025 for Electronic Systems & Communication (SC category) is 410- 370, for Biotechnology (open category) is between 600 to 530, for Software Engineering (ST) is 380- 340, and so on. The GATE 2025 cutoff for NIT Rourkela will be prepared after considering factors like student’s performance in the GATE exam, student’s category, seats available, difficulty level of the GATE exam etc. The GATE 2025 result was released on March 19, 2025. Based on the result, CCMT counselling will begin. M.Tech Admission at NIT Rourkela

NIT Rourkela MTech admission is done through the GATE examination followed by the CCMT counselling process. Students need to qualify the GATE exam and appear in the CCMT counselling. There will be 3 main rounds of CCMT counselling. After each round of seat allotment, the NIT Rourkela GATE cutoff will be released. If there are any open seats after the 3 main rounds of CCMT counselling, they will be distributed through the two-round National Spot Round (NSR) Counseling process. Those who score equal to or higher than the NIT Rourkela GATE cutoff will be granted M.Tech admission.

You are not eligible for the Vellore or Chennai campuses. Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and possibly Electronics and Communication Engineering can be available. Courses like CSE or CSE with specialisations (AI, Data Science, etc.) may be difficult, but might be available in later VITEEE counselling rounds if seats remain.

Dear Student,

While GATE exam is the primary mode of admission to M.Tech courses in GSFC University, there are alternative ways too. The university does accept Gujarat PGCET exam scores to M.Tech admission. So, if you have not qualified the GATE exam, you can sit for the PGCET exam and appear for the centralized Admission Committee for Professional Courses (APCP) counselling process.
