NIT Surathkal Placement Process
Go through the details about the NIT Surathkal placement process 2024 below.
Step 1: Registration
Companies can register for the recruitment process by sending their company details to headpc@nitk.edu.in.
Step 2: Receive an invitation from CTC
The NIT Surathkal Career Development Centre Officer in Charge will send the company an invitation via email. The invitation will contain a description of the NIT Surathkal placement procedure, a placement form, and a link to the placement portal.
Step 3: IRIS Account Details provided on POC Email ID
With the instructions and credentials received via email, the company’s representative can access the placement module on the IRIS Platform, which will be used for all placement operations.
Step 4: Job Training Notification Form
Once organizations have access to IRIS, they must log in and complete the Job/Training Notification Form (JNF/TNF) in the relevant Placement Recruitment Schedule allocated to them, along with the Eligibility for the same.
Step 5; Pre Placement Talk
Companies interested in organizing a pre-placement talk can do so through the Placement module, and the Student Point of Contact (SPoC) will arrange the venue.
Step 6: Shortlist
Companies can freeze the JNF/TNF until a specific deadline, after which the student will be allowed to access all of the facts and apply if they are eligible. The employer will then shortlist the pupils based on their CVs or through an online/offline test.
Step 7: Rounds
Shortlisted students who pass the initial stages are notified and asked to attend the next round, the location of which is updated on IRIS. This can be repeated up to five times. The CDC allocates slots for the same.
Step 8: Result Declare
Following the completion of the NIT Surathkal placement procedure, organizations must declare the results within 24 hours, and this information will be reflected on IRIS.
