The prestigious JEE online exam has received poor response at both the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. There is a good response for written examination. It is estimated that around 1,37,000 students are going to appear for JEE Exam in both Telugu states in 2016.
As many as 1,17,121 students have registered for written exam which is to be held on 3 April 2016 . Of them, only 20,748 students registered for the online exam which is to be held on 9 and 10 April 2016 . The examination centres for Telangana are Hyderabad, Warangal and Khammam. The exam centers for Andhra Pradesh are Vishakapatnam, Vijayawada, Nellore, Guntur and Tirupathi respectively. Online and written test will be conducted at the same centers on respective dates.
While we are still wondering why there are not many takers for the online JEE exam 2016 , here's a quick look at the advantages of online exam:

- The Fee for Online Exam is Rs. 500 whereas for written test, it is Rs.1000
- The time gap between written and online exam is one week. So the students who are appearing for the online exam can prepare more effectively.
