The results of Rajasthan PTET 2020 have been released on October 17, 2020, for 2-year B.Ed. Every year, Dungar College, Bikaner conducts Rajasthan PTET which is a state-level entrance test. Through PTET 2020, the qualifying students can take admission to 2 years’ B.Ed program in various colleges/institutes of Rajasthan. The entrance exam is conducted in the offline mode every year. The online portal for filling the application form for Rajasthan PTET 2020 was closed.

Rajasthan PTET Application Form 2020

The online portal for filling the application form for Rajasthan PTET 2020 has been opened through the official website. The interested candidates can fill the application form till June 25, 2020. However, students are advised to read the instructions properly before filling the application form. The steps to fill the application form for Rajasthan PTET 2020 is given as below:

  1. Visit the official website. https://ptet.in/

  2. In the below-left corner of the page, click on the fill form link.

3. Enter all the details required to register including name, email id, password and mobile number.

4. After registration, a page will appear with the link as Apply Here. Click on the link for further process.

5. Click on the 2 year B. Ed course link and then, on the ‘fill application form’.

6. Enter all the details including your name, father’s name and Date of Birth. You will also have to select one payment option from the drop-down menu including either Online Payment or Online ICICI Bank. Choose one as preferred by you.

7. Click on next.

8. A new portal will open where you will have to enter the mother’s name and upload passport size photograph, signature and left thumb impression.

9. After uploading the documents in the required format given, click on next.

10. The fee payment portal will open. Enter valid payment details to carry on with payment of application fee. After the payment of the application fee, the application process will be completed.

11. It is advisable to take out the print of the filled application form and fee receipt for future references.

Rajasthan PTET Eligibility 2020

Before filling the application form, the students must be aware of the eligibility requirement for Rajasthan PTET 2020. Only the candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria required by Rajasthan PTET 2020 exam will be allowed to sit for the entrance exam. The detailed eligibility criteria for Rajasthan PTET 2020 exam is given as below:

  • The candidate must be at least or more than 21 years of age at the time of applying for the examination.

  • The candidate must have passed any bachelor or an equivalent degree from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

  • For the reserved caste or differently ables category students, the aggregate percentage in the qualifying exam must be a minimum of 45%.

  • The student who has pursued the qualifying degree in correspondence mode are not eligible to sit for the Rajasthan PTET 2020 exam.

  • The candidates who are applying for their qualifying exam can also sit for the exam given that they submit the mark sheet for the qualifying exam before the final counselling round. Note that any provisional certificate or equivalent certificate will not be acceptable by the examination authority.

Rajasthan PTET Reservation Policy 2020

There are certain reservation policies set by Rajasthan PTET examination authority for the candidates. The students who come in the reserved category will be given preference at the time of selection and admission through Rajasthan PTET 2020. Below given is the detailed reservation policy for Rajasthan PTET 2020 exam:

Some Important Points

  • Among all the seats, 5% seats will be reserved for the candidates who are not a domicile of Rajasthan. Also, the candidates who belong from outside of the state will be considered as the general category candidates.

  • All the candidates who come under the reservation policy must submit the proof before the prescribed date to avail the reservation. The students failing to submit the necessary documents will be considered as the general category.

Rajasthan PTET Admit Card 2020

The admit card for all the registered candidates of Rajasthan PTET 2020 will be released on August 08, 2020. The students can download the admit cards through the official websites using their roll number as assigned for the exam. If any student doesn’t have roll number, he/she can also download the admit card with the help of their full name.

Note that any student without the admit card will not be allowed to sit for the exam. Students need to follow the given below steps to download the admit card for Rajasthan PTET 2020 exam:

  1. Go to the official website.

  2. Click on the Admit Card link.

  3. Enter the option for either by roll number or general details as preferred.

  4. Enter all the details and click on proceed.

  5. The admit card for the entered details will be displayed on the screen. Students can download the admit card for exam day.

Rajasthan PTET Result 2020

After the exam is conducted, the Rajasthan PTET 2020 result will be declared in July. The result will be only available through the official website and the notification will be sent to the student through the registered mobile number. The candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their result with the help of their roll number and date of birth. Based on the score obtained by the student in the entrance exam, the merit list will be prepared. The students who have their names in the merit list will be called for the counselling round where they will be allotted college.

Rajasthan PTET Exam Pattern 2020

The Rajasthan PTET 2020 paper will be of 3 hours duration consisting of a total of 200 questions for 600 marks. 3 marks will be awarded for every correct answer by the student. The paper will be divided into 4 major sections:

Section A: Mental Ability: 50 Questions

(i) Reasoning (ii) Judgement & Decision Making (iii) Imagination (iv) Generalization (v) Creative Thinking (vi) Drawing inferences, etc.

Section B: Teaching attitude & Aptitude Test: 50 Questions (Questions will be evaluated on the scale of 3 ,2, 1 and 0).

(i) Social Maturity, (ii) Professional Commitment, (iii) Leadership, (iv) interpersonal Relations. (v) Awareness (vi) Communication, etc.

Section C: General Awareness: 50 Questions

(i) Indian History & Culture, (ii) Current affairs (national & International), (iii) India and its natural resources. (iv) Environmental awareness, (v) Great Indian personalities (Past and Present), (vi) Knowledge about Rajasthan etc.

Section D: Language Proficiency (Hindi or English): 50 Questions

(i) Vocabulary, (ii) Comprehension, (iii) Sentence structures, (iv) Functional Grammar, etc.

Hi Dear, as per LPU criteria for BTECH in IT program You need minimum 60% marks in 10+2 apart from that If you are Kashmiri Migrants or belong from North East and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel then you are eligible for 5% relaxation.
