Salary for UPTET Qualified Teachers: Highest, Median & Average Salary Details

The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test, often known as UPTET, is an annual state-level test used to choose teachers for the primary (classes 1–5) and upper primary (classes 6–8) levels in Uttar Pradesh. UPTET is administered by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board, or UPBEB.

UPTET Pay Scale and Salary Structure

In Uttar Pradesh, an assistant teacher's base salary is INR 7300 throughout their training term, and if they graduate to the regular teacher's pay scale, it might be enhanced. Permanent Primary and Upper Primary teachers make somewhere between INR 9300 and 34800 per year (without the latest rise from the 7th Pay Commission). Deductions in the PayScale
