Sambalpur University PG Eligibility Criteria 2020

As per the eligibility criteria for PG courses at Sambalpur University, you must have passed any of the bachelor's degree programs having a three-year duration such as Commerce/ Arts/ Law or Science(B.A/ LLB/ B.Com and B.Sc) or any other equivalent examination from UGC recognised University. You will have to score a minimum of 45% aggregate or honours in the relevant subject.

If you have appeared for the final year of examination and waiting for result then you will have to submit the Provisional Certificate and Mark sheet of the qualifying examination within ten days in order to apply for any of degrees. If you failed to submit it, the admission is likely to be cancelled. You must note that you are not eligible for admission to any of the degree except M.Tech if in case you hold any post-graduation/ Certificate or P.G Diploma degree. How to Apply for Sambalpur University PG Admission 2020?

If you are applying for any of the post-graduation degree programs at Sambalpur University you will have to submit the application form before the deadline. The complete Sambalpur University PG Admission application process is mentioned below:

• Visit the official website of Sambalpur University ( http://www.suniv.ac.in ) and then click on the online admission page or visit http://eadmission.suniv.ac.in directly.

• Choose the program for which you want to apply along with other required documents.

• Fill in all the required details mentioned in the application form of the college.

• Once done, click on the ‘Submit’ button.

• You will be asked to verify all the details submitted by you.

• Choose the payment mode that you wish to use for payment.

• Once submitted, a pdf file will open which will contain your reference number.

• If you are submitting the fee offline you will have to send an offline copy of the downloaded form to the Head, P.G. Department of ________________, Sambalpur University, Jyoti Vihar-768019, Sambalpur (ODISHA) along with the required documents.

• Admit card will then be released for the candidates who have successfully registered for the program.

Documents Required for Sambalpur University PG Admission 2020

You will have to attach the following documents along with the Sambalpur University application form:

• Two Recent Passport size photos (2 Nos.) attested by the Gazetted Officer.

• Diploma/ Degree certificate(Attested Copy)

• Aadhaar card

• Transfer Certificate / Migration Certificate

• Income certificate or Form - 16 of the parent of the financial year 2019- 2020

• An attested copy of the certificate for Handicapped candidates.

• Ration card as address proof

• An attested copy of the Caste Certificate received from a Revenue Officer, not below the rank of a Deputy Collector

• The undertaking form(s) duly filled in and signed by the parents and the candidate.

Sambalpur University PG Application Fee 2020

You will have to submit the application fee while submitting the form for any of the programs. The application fee can be submitted through Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking. You can also submit the fee by cash or cheque drawn from any of the SBI Branch. The application fee is mentioned on the table provided below:

Sambalpur University PG Selection Process 2020

In order to get admission into Sambalpur University for the PG programs, you will have to appear for the university entrance test conducted for various programs. Around 70% of the weightage will be granted to the entrance test while the remaining 30% will include the academic percentage. If you are opting for admission then you must have some experience in the field as 10% of weightage is for the work experience, 30% is for the written test, 30% is for career mark while 30% is for the performance test.

A merit list will be prepared for admission into various courses. The merit list will be prepared according to the marks scored in the entrance test/ career marks/ MAT score/ Experience and Performance Test in Performing Arts. Criteria for selection is provided below.

• 40% of the total seats will be divided among the candidates whose parents are the permanent resident of Orisha, 40% will be distributed among the graduates of Sambalpur University while remaining 20% will be filled according to the open competition basis.
