Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad

The scholarship criteria of IIIT Hyderabad have multiple scholarships that have been discussed below:

1. The State Bank of India of IIIT Hyderabad branch guarantees a SBI Scholar student loan to any candidate who secures admission at IIIT H for up to 20 lakhs. This can be availed even if the applicant’s family has other existing loans.

Note: Candidates need to note that candidates can avail for the loans without the need for any security

2. One of the alumni of IIIT-H has set up a fund to support the admitted candidates on the basis of their needs. The assistance is provided on a pay-it-forward basis. The pay it forward basis means that the candidates have to pay the fees of another candidate after he or she has started earning. The motive of the fund provides the following support to the candidates as discussed below:

  • a. Financial assistance will be available to candidates whose family annual income is below 8 LPA from the second semester, subject to availability and meeting stipulated eligibility criteria.
  • b. The concerned authority will support the candidates above the income threshold. They can also apply for the same and may be awarded all the tuition support if their case is found by a committee to merit the same

Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi

Several tuition fee waiver schemes have been adopted by the officials for the candidates. The scholarship facilities have been highlighted in the pointers below.

  1. Prof. Pankaj Jalote’s Laptop scheme for first-year Undergraduate candidates from financially weaker families
  2. IIIT Delhi Income Linked Fee Waiver Scheme is valid only for the candidates residing in Delhi. The eligibility criteria of the scheme can be stated in the table below.

Note: Candidates need to note that the business income will be considered as combined income even if one of the parents is earning a business income. The duration of the fee waivers is 4 years. Candidates needing assistance for the fifth or the other years will not be assisted. Candidates who are eligible for the Delhi Government Merit cum Means scholarship scheme should apply on their portal as per their issued schedule. If candidates fail to apply for the Delhi Government scheme, it will automatically make them ineligible for the IIITD Income-linked fee waiver.

3. Delhi Government Merit Cum Mean Scholarship Scheme 2019

Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Gwalior

The scholarship schemes of IIITM Gwalior can b summarized as the following pointers highlighted below:

  1. IIITM Gwalior provides scholarship opportunities to MP board students. Candidates need to fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria as per the institute, submit the documents on the stipulated time as prescribed, and avail of the scholarshi.
  2. There is a merit-based scholarship facility for the candidates that are provided to them on the basis of the rank secured in the Joint Entrance Exam- Main entrance exam. Under this scholarship scheme, the candidates are not required to pay the institute fee, and the merit gets updated every year.
  3. Candidates can avail of government loans that are given to them by the central as well as state governments.

Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Jabalpur

The scholarship details of the IIIT Jabalpur have been explained below. The academic performance index is calculated on the basis of the Cumulative Performance Index (CPI)  for the evaluation of the marks of the candidates for the consideration of an award of scholarship or prizes.

Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Jabalpur offers merit cum basis scholarships to meritorious candidates belonging from economically weaker backgrounds from its own funds made available by the Ministry of Human Resource & Development (MHRD) which has been purposely made on this purpose. MCM Scholarship for both categories of candidates is Rs 1000 which is sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resource & Development (MHRD) and approved by the Board of Governors of the Institute. The pointers below highlight the tuition waivers allotted to the following candidates in IIIT Jabalpur:

  1. All the candidates belonging to the SC or ST categories are eligible for tuition waivers, books, stationery, pocket allowances, and basic messing fee facility.
  2. Undergraduate candidates who are the MCM Scholarship holders at IIITDM Jabalpur are hereby entitled to a tuition waiver of Rs 1000 per month. However, they are required to pay all other fees such as hostel, gym, etc

Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Allahabad

Candidates who are willing to take admission and are looking forward to the scholarship programs offered at IIIT Allahabad can refer to the pointers below:

SBI Scholar Loan Scheme

1. The SBI Scholar Loan Scheme for IIIT Allahabad states that the loan limit can be given to the candidates up to INR 7.5 Lakhs upon which the External Benchmark Rate (EBR) can be considered as 8.05% per annum. The rate of interest is calculated as 10.05% per annum.

Note: Candidates need to note that a concession in interest of 0.50% is given to the female candidates.

2. When candidates are availing of loans above INR 7.5 LPA, the  External Benchmark Rate (EBR) can be considered as 8.05% per annum. The rate of interest is calculated as 10.05% per annum.

Note: Candidates need to note that a concession of 0.50% is assisted to the female candidates and 0.50% concession for students availing of SBI Rinn Raksha or any other existing policy assigned in favor of SBI Bank

Merit cum Means Scholarship

Candidates studying at IIIT Kancheepuram are given a merit cum means scholarship where candidates are offered Rs 1000 per month and are sanctioned to 25% of eligible B.Tech students whose parental income is less than Rs.4.5 LPA. Along with this, candidates are also provided with concessions in their tuition fees.

Scholarship for SC/ST Candidates

The parental monthly income of the candidates studying at IIIT Kancheepuram whose yearly income is not Rs.4.5 lakhs are eligible for concession of mess charges and free from payment of hostel seat rent. Besides, candidates are also provided assistance in pocket money which sums up to Rs 250 per month. There are a lot of benefits that are tested by the candidates.   2. One time grant of Rs. 30,000 will be given to the Candidate for purchasing a laptop and the required pieces of equipment
  3. Books and stationary allowances of Rs. 5,000 will be given annually
  4. Special allowances worth Rs. 2,000 will be given monthly to the candidates
  5. Maintenance allowance of Rs. 3,000 PM and Rs. 1,500 PM will be given to hostellers and day scholars respectively.
