• Total marks (1 mark) = 1 x no. of correct attempts – 1/3 x no. of wrong attempts.

• Total marks (2 marks) = 2 x number of correct attempts – 2/3 x number of wrong attempts.

• NAT Marks: Total marks (1 mark) + Total marks (2 marks).

Formula: Total marks = Total marks secured for correct answer minus— negative marks for incorrect answer.

The GATE Committee is in charge of determining the qualifying mark/score for each GATE paper. In the event of a claim or dispute relating to the GATE 2025 examination or score, the Courts and Tribunals in Mumbai will have sole jurisdiction to hear and resolve it.
