Tamil Nadu D Pharm Eligibility Criteria 2025
The following students are eligible for D Pharm admissions in Tamil Nadu:
- All candidates must have passed their 10+2 or its equivalent with Science stream from a State recognized Board, with Physics, Botany, Chemistry, and Zoology or Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology as their core subject combination.
- All candidates must not be less than the age of 17 years at the time of admission.
- The maximum age limit to apply for TN D Pharm Admission 2024 for General Category Candidates is 30 years.
- For SC/ST Candidates, the maximum age limit for applying to TN D Pharm Admission 2025 is 35 years.
Tamil Nadu D Pharm Application Process 2025
The online application for D Pharm for Government and Self-Financing Colleges is generally made available on the official website of the Tamil Nadu Health Department- www.tnhealth.tn.gov.in/.
- Visit the official website of TN D Pharm Admission 2025.
- Select the “Tamil Nadu D Pharm Application Form 2025” notification link from the homepage. A window of the application form will open on screen.
- Fill out the Tamil Nadu D Pharm Application Form 2024 entirely with the required details and contact information. Make sure to re-check the information provided before submitting the application form.
- Next, candidates are required to upload their important documents such as the marksheets and pass certificates of Class 10th, 11th, and 12th, Transfer Certificate, Proof of Study from Class 6 to 12, and Community Certificate while filling out the Tamil Nadu D Pharm Application Form 2025.
- After completing the application form, candidates must submit it, along with any supporting documentation, to the selection committee by the deadline.
- The Selection Committee will assign the applicant an Application Registration Number.

Tamil Nadu D Pharm Selection Process 2025
The selection of the applicant for the D Pharm in TN is made on the basis of merit, i.e. the performance of candidates in the last qualifying test. The TN D Pharm merit list will be prepared on the basis of the formula mentioned below:

The merit list will be available on the official website of the Tamil Nadu Health Department. Candidates whose names appear on the merit list will be eligible to attend the Tamil Nadu D Pharm Counselling.
Tamil Nadu D Pharm Counselling Process 2025
To participate in the TN D Pharm counselling process, candidates need to follow these steps:
Check Merit List and Counselling Schedule : Candidates will be contacted for counselling based on their position on the merit list. The counselling schedule will be posted on the official website. Ensure to regularly check the website for updates regarding the counselling schedule.
Pay Processing Fee : Before attending the counselling, candidates must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 250/- by Demand Draft (DD). The DD should be made payable to "The Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai-10" in Chennai.
Attend Counselling : On the specified date and time, attend the counselling session. During the counselling process, candidates may select the college of their choice based on availability.
Representation by Parent : If a candidate is unable to attend the counselling due to unforeseen circumstances, their parent may attend on their behalf.
Special Categories : Special category counselling for Ex-Servicemen and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) will be conducted before the General Category counselling. There will be no reallocation or change of college after the counselling process.
Reserved Seats : There are 8 seats reserved for Children of Ex-Servicemen in Government Colleges.
Participation without Call Letter : Candidates who do not receive the call letter can also participate in the counselling session.
