TISS BAT 2022: Application Form (Out), Dates, Eligibility, Exam Pattern, Result, Selection Process

TISS BAT is an entrance exam conducted by the Tata Institute of Social Science for admission into undergraduate programs at the 3 TISS campuses: TISS Tuljapur Campus, TISS Tuljapur Campus and TISS Guwahati Campus but  this year TISS BAT exam 2022 has been replaced by CUET 2022 . The conducting body of CUET is NTA. TISS BAT exam 2022 registrations will be done through CUET. The application process of CUET started in the month of April and the last day to apply was May 31, 2022. The registration opened again on June  23 and the last day to apply was June 24, 2022. Candidates who have completed their class 12th were eligible to apply.
CUET is considered as a selection channel for undergraduate courses in central universities. It was formerly known as Central University Common Entrance Test. And this year the name has been simplified to Common University Entrance Test. Over 45 central universities, 10 private universities along with a few state universities are going to take part in this exam. CUET 2022 will be conducted in 547 cities all over India and in 13 places abroad. NTA has offered 13 language options for the candidates of which they can choose their preferable one to appear in the exam. The exam has started in the month of July. The entire examination will be organized in two shifts. The first shift of the exam will be conducted in the morning and the second one will be held in the afternoon.

TISS BAT Eligibility Criteria 2022

Before filling the application form for TISS BAT 2022, students are advised to go through the eligibility criteria fo the exam. For being eligible to appear in TISS BAT, 2022, the student needs to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

• The student must have passed his/her 12th or an equivalent degree from any recognised board/school.

• The student who is appearing for the intermediate exam or is waiting for the result can also apply for the exam. However, the student will have to show the results at the time of the final selection process.

The application for TISS BAT 2022 will be done by visiting the official website of CUET that is cuet.samarth.ac.in in the online mode. Students are required to read all the instructions and eligibility criteria pertaining to the application before filling the form. The complete application process for TISS BAT 2022 through CUET is elaborated in the points below:

Step 1 - Students should visit the official website of the CUET for applying online.

Step 2 - The students need to click on the ‘Apply Online’ tab to register for the undergraduate program for the academic session 2022-23.

Step 3- On the home page of the website, the students will then be able to see different options for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The student needs to select the right link for them.

Step 4 - The students should complete the registration process by providing the basic details such as name of the candidate, date of birth, mobile number, email-id, and verification code as reflected on the screen.

Step 5 - After submitting all the basic and required details, the application number and password gets generated and the same is sent on registered mobile number and email id.

Step 6- The students can then login with the help of application number and password and fill the personal and academic qualification details as required.

Step 7 - The students need to upload the scanned signature and photograph in prescribed format and must take care of the dimensions mentioned on the official website.

Step 8- The students need to select the exam centres of their choice. The students can choose up to 3 exam centres and they usually get their preference

Step 9 - The students then need to enter the details of the university or college where they are looking for admission and program they are looking for.

Step 10 - The students then need to pay the application fee in either online or offline mode and then submit the application form. One the fee is submitted after submitting the application form, an automated message gets generated and sent to mobile number and registered email id. The application fee can be paid through debit card, credit card, net banking, and SBI challan.

TISS BAT Admit Card 2022 can be downloaded by the students through the following process:

• Students will have to visit the official page of CUET and click on the ‘Admissions’ link.

• On the page, the link for the Admit Card will be flashed on which the student will have to click.

• After logging in with the username and password, students will get the link for ‘view the admit card’.

• Students can download the admit card from the link and keep it for future references.

TISS BAT Exam Pattern 2022

The exam pattern of TISS BAT exam has been changed as the admission is done through CUET 2022. Candidates can check the  exam format to follow and NTA has already catered to that need by releasing CUET 2022 Exam Pattern . The exam pattern follows the  nature of questions, Total questions, duration of the exam, assessment method, related to the CUET 2022 exam.

Out of the four above-mentioned segments the first two cover the Language Syllabus. Section IA includes 13 languages and aspirants are allowed to select any one of them. Section IB has 20 languages and this segment is dedicatedly prepared for the candidates willing to do their under graduation in the special languages mentioned by NTA.
