TNEA round 4 seat allotment 2024 result will be declared after the fourth round of TNEA counselling 2024. The TNEA 2024 first round of counselling is expected to start by the end of July, 2024. The TNEA 2024 registration commenced on May 6 and concluded on Jun 6, 2024.

TNEA Round 4 Seat Allotment 2024: Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu will conduct the TNEA counselling 2024 for admission into B.E. / B.Tech colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu based upon the TNEA rank of the candidates. The TNEA Rank List 2024 will be published on July 10, 2024. The TNEA round 4 seat allotment result 2024 will be declared after the fourth round of TNEA counselling.

Every candidate will be allotted seats as per their preference of college, course and their respective rank mentioned in the TNEA rank list. The seat allotment result will comprise details like the name of the candidate, college name, branch name. Candidates will be allotted seats in their preferred course and college on the basis of TNEA counselling and TNEA seat allotment 2024 process. Students eligible to take part in the counselling process must check the important dates, documents and the detailed seat acceptance process in this article.

Detailed TNEA Seat Acceptance Process 2024

After the seat allotment results are declared candidates will have 6 different options to choose from. The options available for candidates are mentioned below.

Accept and Join

The provisional seat allotment order can be downloaded by applicants who are satisfied with the seat that has been assigned to them, and applicants can report to the designated college on the assigned date for admission. If applicants fail to report to the institute on the assigned date,, they will lose their reserved seats and also be ineligible to participate in subsequent stages of TNEA counselling.

Accept and Upward

A candidate satisfied with the seat allotted but wishes to wait for allotment at higher order of his preference can choose this option. However, if there is no better possibility of seat allotment for the candidate, then his previous allotted choice will get confirmed.

Decline and Upward

Candidates not satisfied with the allotment of seats can decline the seat allotted to them and wait for allotment at  higher order of her/ his preference. Applicants unable to secure her/ his preferred choice in an upward movement will be moved to the next round of counselling.

Decline and Move to the Next Round

Applicants not satisfied with the TNEA seat allotment 2024 and do not wish to wait for upward movement can move and participate in the next round.

Decline and Quit

This option is available to applicants who are dissatisfied with the seats they have been assigned and do not desire to take part in the subsequent rounds.

Upward or Move to the Next Round

This option will be available if "no seat" is allotted to the candidate after considering all the options. Such candidates may choose for upward movement. During upward movement, if a seat becomes available, it will be allotted to the candidate. Such applicants will advance to the following round if there are no seats available during upward movement..

TNEA Counselling 2024- Detailed Procedure

To take admission at various B.E. / B.Tech courses and colleges in Tamil Nadu, candidates are required to participate in the counselling process. The TNEA counselling 2024 process is an online process which includes various steps like registration, payment of initial deposit, choice filling, seat allotment and confirmation. The detailed counselling process has been mentioned in detail below.

Candidate Registration & Verification of Certificates

The first step in the TNEA 2024 counselling process is to successfully complete the registration process. Every student must register themselves to participate in the counselling process. After successfully completing the registration process, candidates have to take part in the document verification process with their necessary documents.

TNEA Rank List 2024 Publication

TNEA rank list 2024 was published by DoTE on June 26, 2024 in the online mode. The TNEA 2024 rank list is published with the candidates' scores in the following subjects like physics, chemistry and mathematics in their senior secondary exam.  The rank of the candidates in the rank list of TNEA will determine the chances of admission into the participating colleges of TNEA.

TNEA Choice Filling 2024

In this stage of the counselling process, candidates are required to enter their preferred choice of respective college and course. Every applicant must ensure to fill their choices in order of their preference and there is no limit on the number of choices to be filled by the candidates.

TNEA Seat Allotment 2024

TNEA 2024 seat allotment result will be declared after each round of counselling. Every candidate will be allotted seats as per their marked preference of college and course and their respective rank in the TNEA rank list. The seat allotment result will comprise details like the name of the candidate, college name, branch name.

TNEA 2024 Seat Allotment Confirmation

If a candidate is allotted a seat during the seat allocation procedure, they will be given alternatives for confirming their position. In order to avoid being moved to the next round of counselling, candidates must confirm their seat within two days of the date of allotment.

Reporting to Allotted Institute / College

The last step of TNEA counselling process is reporting to the allotted institute / college by candidates. The applicants who have been allotted a seat must download the TNEA 2024 seat allotment letter and report to the assigned college / institute within 7 days with the important set of documents and complete their admission process by paying the requisite admission fees.

Since LPU admits students from all recognized boards, including NIOS you can indeed be admitted after completing your 12th grade there. You must however fulfill the particular requirement for the course for which you want to apply.
