TS DEECET 2023

With the release of the TS DEECET 2023 official notification on April 21, 2023, the registration process for the exam has also commenced from April 22, 2023 to May 22, 2023. TS DEECET 2023 is set to be held on June 1, 2023. The entrance exam will be held online and candidates seeking admission through TS DEECET should visit the official website, deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in.

Through TS DEECET, candidates can take admission to the 2-year D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) and D.P.S.E (Diploma in Pre-School Education) in Government DIETs or Private un-aided minority and non-minority Elementary Teacher Education Institutions. TS DEECET, also known as Telangana State Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test is a state education common entrance test conducted by the Department of School Education, Government of Telangana.

TS DEECET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who meet the Telangana DEECET 2023 eligibility criteria can register for the entrance test. The eligibility criteria can be checked below.

  • The candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
  • Candidate should meet the local/non-local status requirements as per the Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974.
  • Candidates should have got a rank in TS DEECET 2023 and should meet the educational qualifications given below for seat allotment in government DIET and category A and B seats in private elementary teacher education institutions.
  • For getting a rank, candidates from OC and BC communities shall need 35% marks in TS DEECET. For SC and ST there will be no minimum qualifying marks for seat allotment under the respective categories.

Educational Qualifications

The TS DEECET 2023 education qualifications that applicants have to meet are:

  • For seats in all Government DIET & Private un-aided Elementary Teacher Education Institutes, the applicant must have appeared for and passed the intermediate exam or its equivalent as decided by the TS DEECET committee. But the candidate should have passed the intermediate exam at the time of admission.
  • The applicant must have 50% in aggregate in the qualifying exam for appearing for TS DEECET 2023. The minimum percentage of marks in the case of SC and ST and physically challenged candidates will be 45%.

Age Criteria

  • Candidate must have completed 17 years of age as on September 1 of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit for admission to D.EI.Ed/D.P.S.E programme.

Note: The applicants who have passed the intermediate exam with vocational courses are not eligible to apply for Telangana DEECET 2023.

TS DEECET 2023 Application Form

To apply for Telangana DEECET 2023, candidates will have to firstly download the free information bulletin from the TS DEECET official website and see if they meet the eligibility criteria. Then the candidate will have to pay a fee of Rs.450 through a payment gateway service and fill in the necessary personal information at the payment gateway. After receipt of the fee, the candidate will be given a reference id with which the candidate can proceed with the application submission. TS DEECET 2023 application process is given in detail below

TS DEECET 2023 Application Fee

Irrespective of the category of the candidate, all aspirants have to pay the same application fee for TS DEECET 2023. The application fee has to be paid online and the payment gateway service will be available on the official website. At the payment gateway, you have to enter your name, date of birth, mobile number and gender. Upon paying the fee, a reference ID will be generated for every candidate through which they can continue their TS DEECET registration process. The application fee can be paid through Net Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card.

How to Fill TS DEECET 2023 Application Form?

  • After paying the application fee, the candidates need to fill the online application form for TS DEECET 2023 by clicking on ‘Submit Application’. Given below are the steps for submitting the application form for TS DEECET 2023.
  • After filling in the information in the application form, the candidate needs to paste his photograph of size less than 50 kb and signature less than 30 kb.
  • The photograph has to be pasted on a white paper and candidate needs to sign below and make sure that the signature fits in the box. The required size including the photograph and signature needs to be scanned and stored in jpeg format on a local machine.
  • The application which has no photo or unclear photo/photo with the incorrect size will be rejected. The hall ticket will not be given to such candidates. So, after pressing the upload button, the candidate should check all of this thoroughly
  • If there are any complaints regarding the mismatch of photo and candidate’s details, they will not be entertained after application submission.

TS DEECET 2023 Exam Pattern

Before appearing for TS DEECET 2023, aspiring candidates should have an idea of the exam pattern. The entrance exam will be conducted online in all the erstwhile 10 districts. The exam will have objective-type questions in 3 papers. 100 questions will be there in the 3 parts of the exam with one mark each.

TS DEECET 2023 Syllabus

TS DEECET 2023 Hall Ticket

Aspirants will be able to download their TS DEECET 2023 hall ticket from May 27, 2023 from the official website. In case an applicant could not download the TS DEECET hall ticket during the dates notified for download of Hall Tickets, he or she should contact the help line by giving the details of the Journal Number of the application fee paid and the reference ID of the application submitted.

TS DEECET 2023 Results and Rank Card

TS DEECET result 2023 will release after the examination's held. The marks along with the rank of the candidate will be displayed on the official website. The candidates can download the rank card for TS DEECET 2023 to appear for the counselling process.

What is the syllabus of TS DEECET?

The TS DEECET exam will be conducted in English, Urdu and Telegu medium. The syllabus contains General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude, General English and General Urdu/ Telegu, Mathematics, Social Studies, Physical Science and Biological Science. The exam will have 3 papers with objective-type questions and each paper has 100 questions. The marks allotted for each paper are different. D.P.S.E. programme is offered only in English Medium. Therefore, candidates appearing for TS DEECET in English Medium will only have the option to seek admission in D.P.S.E. along with D.EI.Ed.

 

What should be the size of the TS DEECET application photograph?

The size of the photograph for TS DEECET candidates should be less than 50 KB and the signature must be less than 30 KB. The photograph should be pasted on white paper and signed below within the box. Scan the required size containing the photograph and signature and make sure to not scan the complete paper. The entire image consisting of the photo along with the signature is required to be scanned and stored in .jpeg format. 

Can my TS DEECET application get rejected for any reason?

Yes, your TS DEECET application can get rejected if the application form does not contain a photo/ unclear photo or inadequate size photograph. For such candidates, no admit card will be issued. Any complaints related to a mismatch of photograph and candidate details will not be accepted after submission of the application at any cost. 

What are the educational qualifications required for appearing in the TS DEECET exam?

To get a seat in Government DIET & Private un-aided Elementary Teacher Education Institutes through TS DEECET, candidates should have appeared and passed the intermediate exam or its equivalent. At the time of admission, applicants should have passed their intermediate exam. Those belonging to the UR category should have secured 50% aggregate marks and 45% for candidates who are SC, ST or physically challenged. 

 

What is the application fee for TS DEECET?

Candidates appearing for TS DEECET have to pay INR 500 as the application fee. The fee has to be paid before filling up the application form. Once the fee payment is confirmed, candidates will get a reference ID through which they can continue filling up the application form. The application fee can be paid through debit card, credit card or Net banking so applicants should be ready with the card details like Card number, Expiry date / from date, Security Code / CVV number, etc.

 

What are the documents required to fill up the TS DEECET application form?

The documents required to fill up the TS DEECET application form are the mark sheet of Class 12th, a recent photograph of the applicant, certificate of the date of birth, caste certificate, sports certificate (if applying under the sports category) and a valid ID proof such as Aadhar card, PAN card, Voter ID, Driving license and Passport. 

 

How to fill up the TS DEECET application form?

To fill up the TS DEECET application form, candidates have to first pay the application fee and then click on the fill application form tab. Enter your Payment reference ID, mobile number, date of birth and click on proceed to fill out the application. Fill up the mandatory details on the application form. After furnishing the required details, read the declaration at the end of the page and select the check box if you have completed filling up the form.
