Each college also has its own prerequisites and cutoffs for admission. TS ICET colleges are divided into four groups, A, B, C, and D, based on the cutoff ranks, which range from high to low. The conducting authority uses a tie-breaker if more than two applicants obtain the same score. The following conditions must be met for a tie-breaker:

• Marks obtained in Section A of the exam will be given preference in the tie-breaker.
• If the tie still persists, the marks secured in Section B will be considered to resolve it.

• In the final tie-breaking step, preference will be given to the older candidates.

All sessions of TS ICET 2024 follow the same syllabus and pattern, and applicants who meet the eligibility requirements can participate in one session only. Since each session has a different question paper, candidates may compare themselves based on the perceived difficulty levels of the papers for the same subject. However, to address any variations in difficulty levels among sessions, a normalization process is implemented. The purpose of score normalization is to ensure that no candidate is unfairly advantaged or disadvantaged due to the different sessions. Candidates who achieve the TS ICET MBA cutoff 2024 scores will find their names listed on the ranking list. These shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in the TS ICET 2024 counselling round, which takes place after the release of the merit list and announcement of the TS ICET result. The seat allotment process during counselling is determined by the candidate's ranking in the exam.
