Age Limit for UGC NET 2024 Application Form

Age Limit for JRF
The applicants who are less than or equal to 30 years as of December 1, 2023, can apply for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). The candidates who fall under the category of SC/ST/OBC get relaxation according to UGC norms.
Age Limit for Assistant Professor

- The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Female/PwD/Third Gender will get age relaxation upto 5 years.
- The research scholars will get age relaxation of upto five years depending on the time span spent on research.
- Age restrictions of up to three years will apply to LLM candidates.

UGC NET provisional answer key will be released after the exam is concluded for UGC NET/JRF. The board will also make available to the candidates the UGC NET response sheet along with the provisional answer key.
