UGC NET English Cutoff 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) published the UGC NET result 2024 for the December session on February 22, 2025 on its official website of UGC, i.e. ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
The agency released the
UGC NET Results 2024
along with the
UGC NET Cutoff 2024
marks for 85 subjects. For the unreserved category, the JRF cutoff is 214, Assistant Professor cutoff is 188, and PhD cutoff is 162. While for the reserved category [OBC(NCL)], the JRF cutoff is 202, Assistant Professor cutoff is 172, and PhD cutoff is 150. A total of 8,49,166 candidates registered for the exam, where 6,49,490 candidates appeared, only 5,158 candidates qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professorship, 48,161 candidates for Assistant Professorship, and admissions to PhD and 1,14,445 candidates for PhD only.
The qualifying marks for the General and Reserved categories in UGC NET Paper I and Paper II are 40% and 35%, respectively. The UGC NET 2024 December session exam was conducted between
January 3 and January 27, 2024.
The UGC NET December 2024 was held at 558 exam centres in 266 cities for 8,49,166 candidates. The cutoffs for the June session were 97.37 percentile for Assistant Professor and 99.80 percentile for JRF for the unreserved category. The UGC NET English cutoff 2024 will be determined by the exam's administrators by taking into account several different elements.
