UGC NET Political Science Cutoff 2024: The
National Testing Agency (NTA) released the UGC NET 2024 result for the December session on February 22, 2025 along with the cutoff marks 85 subjects. Candidates can access their
UGC NET Results 2024
and UGC NET December cutoff 2024 from the official website of UGC, i.e. ugcnet.nta.ac.in. For the unreserved category, the JRF cutoff is 234, Assistant Professor cutoff is 210, and PhD cutoff is 184. While for the reserved category [OBC(NCL)], the JRF cutoff is 226, Assistant Professor cutoff is 196, and PhD cutoff is 168. The UGC NET December 2024 exam was conducted between January 3 to January 27 for nine days in 16 shifts. A total of 8,49,166 candidates appeared at 558 exam centres in 266 cities. The agency conducted the examination in Computer Based Test (CBT) format.
Out of the total the 8,49,166 candidates registered for the exam, a total of 6,49,490 candidates appeared. While 48,161 candidates qualified for Assistant Professorship, only 5,158 candidates qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professorship, and admissions to PhD and 1,14,445 candidates qualified for PhD only.
