UGC NET Economics Cutoff December 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 result for December session on February 22, 2025 for 85 subjects. To check their results and cutoff, candidates can visit the official website of UGC, i.e. ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The agency also released the UGC NET cut off 2024 for the December session. A total of 5158 students qualified for JRF Posts, 1,14,445 candidates for Ph.D., and 48,161 for Assistant Professor & admission to Ph.D. For the unreserved category, the UGC NET Economics JRF cutoff is 206, Assistant Professor cutoff is 180, and PhD cutoff is 156. The UGC NET December 2024 cut-off for the reserved category in Economics is 192.45 for OBC(NCL), for Assistant Professor, it is 162, and for PhD, it is 142.
The qualifying marks for the general and reserved categories in UGC NET Paper I and Paper II are 40% and 35%, respectively. The UGC NET December 2024 exam was conducted from January 3 to January 27, 2025. For the UGC NET June 2024 exam, the JRF cutoff was 210, Assistant Professor cutoff was 182, and PhD cutoff was 154 for the unreserved category.
