UP Board Exam Date 2024 was released on December 7, 2023, in a PDF format online. UP Board 10th and 12th Exams 2024 were conducted from February 22, 2024, to March 9, 2024. Students appearing for the UP Board 2025 examination can expect the board to release the date sheet and conduct the exam on the same dates.

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad released UP Board Exam Date 2024 in a PDF format on December 7, 2023. The exams were conducted from February 22 to March 9, 2024. Students can refer to these exam dates to prepare for the upcoming exams. The practical exams for class 12th were conducted between January 25 and February 9, 2024, this year also the same timeline is expected to be followed by UPMSP. Students can download the UP Board Time Table 2025 online once it is released at upmsp.edu.in. The detailed date sheet is mostly released by UPMSP in December. UP Board Exam Date 2024 - NEP Policy

According to the National Education Policy 2020, significant changes have been made by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad in the curriculum of some grades. For classes 9th and 10th, the three-language formula will be implemented. Every student will have to learn at least three languages. The changes will be implemented in class 9 from the 2025-26 session & in class 10 from 2026-27. According to the rule, Hindi will be a mandatory language for the students; apart from that, they have to choose other languages from a list of languages. Other than the 3 language subjects, the main subjects include Mathematics, Social Science, and Science. Going forward, students have to select one subject from Home Science, Anthropology, Commerce, NCC, Computer, Agriculture, or Environmental Science. Subjects like Physical and Health Education will include Moral, Yoga, Sports and Physical Education, and socially useful productive work. A total of 10 subjects will be included in the curriculum, making the total marks allotted for class 10th 1000 from the previous 600. Some boards, like CBSE, have also decided to conduct the board exam twice per year from the next academic session but UPMSP has yet to take any such decision. UP Board Exam Date 2024: Marking Scheme

Some other changes have also been made in the marking scheme by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad according to NEP 2020. A new grading system will be adopted by UPMSP to be used when grading the students and the same grades will be reflected in the marksheet. The marksheet will include grades along with the marks that the students have achieved in the different subjects. According to the new grading system, students who score more than 91 marks will be awarded an A1 grade, followed by an A2 grade for 81 to 90 marks, a B1 grade for 71 to 80 marks, a B2 grade for 61 to 70 marks, C1 grade for 51 to 60 marks, C2 grade for 41 to 50 marks, D grade for 33 to 40 marks and last three E grade will be provided to the students who get less than 32 marks. Other changes will be reflected in the question paper format. According to the National Education Policy 2020, the number of MCQs and skilled-based questions will be increased in the question papers presented by UPMSP for classes 9th to 12th. The question paper will include MCQs worth 20 marks, followed by skilled-based questions worth 30 marks, and descriptive-type questions for 30 marks. Theory papers for subjects like Physical, Art, and Vocational Education will be of 30 marks and the remaining marks will be allotted for internal assessment. The theory paper for other subjects will be conducted for 80 marks and 20 marks will be provided for the practical or the internal assessment. UP Board Exam Date 2024 - Board Exams in Classes 9 and 11?

Although significant changes have been made in the curriculum for classes 9th and 11 in Uttar Pradesh, no changes have been made in the type of exams that will be conducted for the students. There will be no board exams to be conducted for classes 9 and 11. The exams will be conducted at the school level according to the date sheet that is decided by the school authority. The exam dates released by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad will be taken into consideration when deciding the date sheet for the exams of classes 9th and 11th.

There are also no changes made in the curriculum for this academic year; however, the curriculum will be changed starting next year. As mentioned above, the total marks allotted for the curriculum will be increased to 1000. Students will have to start preparing for the exams according to the curriculum PDF uploaded on the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad. UP Board Exam Date 2024 - Difficulty Level of Exams

Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad conducts the board exams for classes 10th and 12th every year based on the curriculum decided by them. The curriculum is released on the official website months before the exams for the reference of the students. The curriculum for classes 10th and 12th is extensive.
