Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) conducts the UPTET 2019 exam every year. UPBEB released the official UPTET 2019 notification on October 31st, 2019 which included the final information about UPTET 2019 important dates, the application process, eligibility criteria, syllabus, and exam pattern.
UPTET 2019 exam was to take place on 22nd December 2019. However, due to ongoing unrest, UPTET 2019 exam was conducted on 8 January.

UPTET Eligibility Criteria for 2019
Age Limit: The lower limit to apply for UPTET 2019 examination is 18 years while the upper age limit is 35 years for General Category candidates. There was a relaxation for reserved category candidates in upper age limit.

How to Fill the UPTET 2019 Application Form?
Submission of UPTET 2019 Online Application: Candidates could submit the online application form for UPTET 2019 exam only through the official website of Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB). On the official website, candidates could find a series of links relating to UPTET 2019 exam. The applicant had to click on the ‘Apply Online’ link to submit UPTET 2019 online application form. The application form displayed on a new page, and the candidates needed to fill all the details carefully.
Uploading Documents: After filling the details on the online UPTET 2019 application form, the candidates needed to upload the scanned versions of Photograph and Signature in the prescribed format (JPG) and size.
Payment of UPTET 2019 Application Fee: After the successful completion of the above steps, the candidates needed to download the HDFC e-challan from the official site and deposit the application fee in the nearest HDFC bank. The candidates could also directly pay the fee through the HDFC payment gateway on the official website of UP Basic Education Board.
Confirmation of Application: After the UPTET 2019 application fee payment, the candidates could download the printout of the UPTET 2019 application form.
UPTET Admit Card for 2019
The UPTET 2019 Admit card 2019 was available for download on the official website from December 12, 2019. Candidates could download the UPTET 2019 admit card through the official website of UP Basic Education Board. In order to download the UPTET admit card, the candidates needed to enter the application number and date of birth. Candidates were required to take the printout of the UPTET Admit card 2019. The admit card has the date and time of the 2019 exam, exam centre and instructions. The candidates must follow the instructions carefully printed on the admit card.
