UP ITI Admission 2025 : Admissions to ITI colleges in Uttar Pradesh are based on a candidate’s merit. Based on the marks obtained by a candidate in their last qualifying examination, a state-level merit list is prepared by the State Council for Vocational Training (SCVTUP) that allows candidates to enrol in various Government and Private Industrial Training Institutes across Uttar Pradesh. The UP ITI online form 2025 is expected to be released in the second week of July 2025, i.e., July 10, 2025 (tentative).

The UP ITI Admission form will be available on the official website of the Lucknow Directorate of Skill Development as soon as it is released. If previous year trends are to be believed, the last date to fill out the UP ITI form 2025 will be in the first week of August 2025. The eligibility criteria for ITI admissions in Uttar Pradesh require candidates to complete Class 8th/10th/12th (depending on the trade they wish to pursue). UP ITI Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria

The detailed eligibility criteria that the candidates have to fulfil before filling out the UP ITI online form 2025 have been provided below:

• To be eligible for UP ITI 2025 Admissions, the candidates need to have completed Class 8th/10th or its equivalent from a recognized board.
• The candidates should not be a day younger than 14 years as of 1st August 2025.
• Candidates who are appearing in their respective qualifying examination in 2025 are also eligible to apply for UP ITI admissions for the academic session 2025-26.
• The candidates must be mentally and physically sound (fit) to be eligible to apply for UP ITI admissions.

Note:

1. There is no upper age limit to apply for UP ITI admission 2025.
2. There is no relaxation in the eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to reserved categories.

UP ITI Online Form for Application in 2025

The step-by-step process to fill out the UP ITI application form 2025 is given below:

Step 1: To apply for UP ITI admission 2025, students should go to the official website of the UP State Council for Vocational Training. On the homepage, they should click on the link containing the UP ITI online form 2025.

Step 2: Fill all the boxes with the required information like your own name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, category, and mobile number, and click on the “Send OTP” button to receive a verification link on your mobile phone. Type the OTP in the blank box and click on the “Verify & Proceed” button to proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Three options will appear on the screen, namely State, Private, and State and Private. You have to select one from the available options and click on the “UP ITI admission 2025 Submit” button to move to the next step.

Step 4: Now, you will see the UP ITI admission application form asking for all the important basic personal details like name, parents’/guardians’ name, correspondence address, category, etc. You have to fill in all the boxes very carefully and click on the “Save & go to the Next Step” tab.

Step 5: Next step is to provide your educational qualification details and upload your recent scanned photograph and signature. The scanned images should be in .jpg/.jpeg format only and should not be more than 50KB in size. Again, you have to click on the “Save & go to the Next Step” tab.

Step 6: Now you have to choose between Groups A and B, followed by choosing ITIs and courses. Click on the “Next” button.

Step 7: The preview of your filled application form will appear in front of you. You will have to check for all the details you have provided and then click on the agreement checkbox and click on the “Proceed to Payment” tab.

Step 8: You have to submit the application form fee to complete the online application process for UP ITI admission 2025.

UP ITI Admission 2025: Selection Process

Candidates going for the UPI ITI admission must be aware that the selection process for admissions to UP ITI colleges will be based on the counselling process. Also, the selection process for numerous government and private ITI institutions in Uttar Pradesh follows the same generic process. Check out the detailed process for admissions to UP ITI colleges as given below:

• There is a merit list released by the institute officials based on the scores secured by the students in the qualifying exam.
• Moreover, only the students whose names are listed in the merit list will be called for the counselling round.
• For UP ITI admission, there will be several counselling rounds depending on the seat intake.
• Students can go for the ‘Float’ option in case they are not satisfied with the allocated seat and are awaiting the next counselling round and seat allocation to view better options for them.
• Also, students who are satisfied with their allocated seat must go for the ‘Freeze’ option to confirm their seat.
• After freezing the option, students will not be able to participate in the further rounds of UPI ITI counselling and seat allocation rounds.
• The result of the seat allocation round will be released on the official website of the UP State Council for Vocational Training.
• Students who are allocated seats will be informed through their registered contact number.
• After the seat allocation, students will be given only 6 days to deposit their admission fees.
• It must be noted that students who fail to confirm their admission within the prescribed timeline will not be allowed to sit for the UP ITI counselling, and also the allocated seat to them will be forfeited.
• In case the students applying for private ITIs in UP are unable to confirm their admission within the set duration, their seats will be reserved based on the management quota. They will also be given seats outside the SVCT portal.
• Students eligible for admission have to pay the admission fee to confirm their admission to the management quota seats.

UP ITI Admission 2025: Merit List

The State Council of Vocational Training, Uttar Pradesh, is entrusted with the responsibility of releasing the UP IT merit list 2025. This merit list is released by the conducting authorities a few days after the final UP ITI online form 2025 date expires. The merit list will feature the names of only those candidates who were able to register themselves for UP ITI admissions before the deadline. The merit list will be prepared based on the scores achieved by candidates in their last qualifying examination. Candidates will be able to download the UP ITI merit list in online mode.
