There VMOU B.Ed 2024 detailed eligibility criteria is explained below.

• Firstly, candidates have to complete 10+2 in any stream from a recognised school with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Next, candidates must complete their graduation from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks in any stream.
• Candidates must have studied English and Mathematics as a core subject during the 10+2.
• Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply, however, they need to provide their provisional marksheet and certificates.
• There is no upper age limit to be eligible for the entrance exam.
• Moreover, In-service teachers with a minimum of two years of teaching experience, or also eligible.
• All the candidates have to qualify the VMOU B.Ed 2024 or PTET in order to be eligible for the B.Ed course.

• A fresh window will appear wherein candidates are recommended to read the admission guidelines carefully and improve the declaration by clicking on ‘I agree’ and then proceed with filling the application form.
• Candidates have to now provide their personal details, such as name, address, nationality, guardian details, mobile number, email ID etc. Click on the ‘Save & Next’ button once done.
• And now candidates have to fill in all their academic qualification details. Starting from class 10 to the last qualifying degree or exam.

VMOU B.Ed 2024 Exam Pattern

VMOU B.Ed 2024 exam pattern is discussed  below.

• The exam will be conducted for a duration of 120 minutes in an offline pen paper based format.
• The exam will contain 150 multiple choice questions. A total of 30 questions will be asked from five sections namely mental ability, teacher attitude, general awareness, language proficiency (Hindi), language proficiency (English) etc.
• Every section of the exam will have a total weightage of 90 marks and the combined maximum marks will be 450 marks.
• There will be a provision of negative marking in the entrance exam.

VMOU B.Ed 2024 Admission Process

VMOU B.Ed 2024 admission process is conducted via two ways:

Merit Based Admission:

Candidates who have completed 10+2 in any stream from a recognised school with a minimum of 50% marks ( 45% marks for reserved category) and graduation in any stream from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible for admission on the basis of merit.

All those candidates who will take admission on the basis of merit have to meet the cut-off released by the university on the official website following which they have to go through the counselling process in order to get the desired seat.

Entrance Based Admission:

VMOU B.Ed 2024 admission is conducted on the basis of qualification of either VMOU B.Ed 2024 or PTET 2024.

All those candidates who have qualified any of these exams and have met the cut off are released by the university and have to then participate in the counselling process for e-verification of documents after which they will be allocated seats.

VMOU B.Ed 2024 Counselling

VMOU B.Ed 2024 counselling process is conducted in online multiple phases until all the seats are filled.

Candidates can participate in the counselling process by filling the counselling registration form and paying a counselling registration fees. During the counselling process an e-verification of documents will take place.

The final seat allocation will depend upon several factors such as marks secured in the entrance exam, academic achievements, number of seats available, reservation policy, followed by the institute etc.
