Welingkar 2025 PGDM Eligibility Criteria
Apart from the Welingkar XAT Cutoff the eligibility criteria are a mandatory requirement that aspirants must fulfill if they wish to seek admission to any of the management courses offered at Prin. L.N.Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research (WeSchool). Candidates must make sure they take a look at the eligibility criteria for their preferred courses before applying. Take a look at the general eligibility criteria for PGDM admission at Welingkar mentioned below:
- Candidates must have a bachelor's degree, which must have a minimum duration of three years, and candidates must have at least 50% aggregate marks or an equivalent CGPA.
- It must also be noted that for admission to the 2025-26 batch candidates must complete their graduation course by June 2025.
- Candidates should have registered and appeared in one of the following exams to be considered for admission at Welingkar - CAT 2023/XAT 2025/CMAT 2025/ATMA (Feb 2025)/ GMAT (Taken from 2021 onwards) and must score the required cutoff marks to become eligible for admission.
- Candidates who have fulfilled the degree requirements and are awaiting results, as well as those who are taking the final year bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification exam, are also qualified to apply for admission.
- If a final-year student is offered admission and Welingkar determines that they are provisionally eligible, they must turn in their mark sheet and degree certificate from the final year bachelor's degree test by the deadline that the institute announces.

Welingkar 2025 Selection Process
The selection process at Welingkar is similar to that of other B-schools who select candidates based on entrance exam scores like CAT, XAT, ATMA, etc. Candidates must be familiar with the selection process along with each of the stages to put in their best effort. The different stages of the Welingkar 2025 Selection Process have been explained below:
Stage 1: Applying for Admission & Appearing for Accepted Entrance Exams
The first step for aspirants who wish to seek admission at Welingkar Institute is to appear for any of the accepting entrance exams which include CAT (2023)/ XAT (2025) / ATMA (Feb 2025)/CMAT (2025) /GMAT (2021 onwards). Candidates who apply for admission before the stipulated deadline will be shortlisted based on the minimum qualifying score in the entrance exam like the Welingkar XAT Cutoff.
Stage 2: Shortlisting for Group Activity/Personal Interview Round
Aspirants are shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process based on several factors which include entrance exam scores, academic profile, and extracurricular activities. The Academic Profile includes Class 10, 12, and Graduation Marks. As for extracurricular activities, only District, State, National & international level achievements are considered. Relevant work experience is also considered during profile-based shortlisting. It must be noted candidates can also be selected for non-profile based shortlisting if they are not shortlisted during profile-based selection.
Stage 3: Group Activity & Personal Interview
During this stage candidates are required to appear for both Group Activity and Personal Interview rounds. During the group activity candidates have to display communication skills, confidence, knowledge, and ability to work as a team. During this round candidates are typically divided into groups and are provided with a topic to elaborate on and discuss by putting forward their views. As for personal interviews, a panel of interviewers assesses the aspirant based on their confidence, managerial skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills, academic and professional knowledge, etc.
Stage 4: Final Selection
Once all the previous stages of the selection process have been concluded, candidates will be evaluated based on different factors for the final selection. The final evaluation is based on entrance exam scores, relevant work experience, academic profile, extracurricular activities, Group Activity scores, and Personal Interview scores. Final admission is offered to candidates who have performed well in all the aforementioned criteria.
