Once the GUJCET result 2025 is released the further admission process for the qualified candidates will begin. Candidates are advised to follow the GUJCET official website so that they don't miss any important events that will jeopardize their admission.

Release of the Merit List

GUJCET Provisional Merit List 2025 will be released on June 7, 2025. The GUJCET results will be used to compile the GUJCET merit list 2025 . Applicants will be able to verify their position/ rank in the GUJCET 2025 merit list online at gujacpc.nic.in.

  • The first merit list will be prepared for the candidates who took the GUJCET  2025 exam. The merit list of GUJCET 2025 will be created with a 60% weightage of the PCM marks and a 40% weightage of the GUJCET percentile scores.
  • For those who took the JEE Main 2025 exam , the second GUJCET merit list 2025 will be prepared. The merit will be calculated using a 60% weightage of the marks gained in PCM after covering it to a maximum of 100, along with a 40% weightage of the percentile scores acquired in the JEE Main exam.

Start of GUJCET Counselling

After the declaration of the GUJCET merit list, the GSEB will commence the counselling process online. Candidates need to register to sit for the GUJCET counselling 2025. The detailed GUJCET 2025 counselling process has been mentioned below.

Step 1 - Registration and Completion of Counseling Form

Candidates must visit the GUJCET 2025 official website at gujcet.gseb.org to register for counseling and seat allocation. Click on the counselling registration link and complete the form by providing information such as the name of their father and their cellphone number, when filling out the registration form.

Step 2: Filling out the Application Form

Following that, candidates must complete a full GUJCET application form including personal, academic, and competitive tests, and other information. A GUJCET 2025/ JEE Main 2025 application number will also be required to complete the form. In the application form of counselling, candidates are required to upload the following documents

  • HSC (10+2) mark sheet
  • Income Certificate (for TFWs candidates)
  • Schedule Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribes certificate
  • Ex-Serviceman Candidate
  • Certificate of Socially and Educationally Class (SEBC)
  • Certificate of EWSs (Economically weaker sections)
  • Persons with Disability (PWD) certificate
  • Certificate of In-Serviceman candidate

Step 3: GUJCET Merit List Release

After the registration for counselling is completed GSEB will release a provisional merit list based on candidates' performance in GUJCET and JEE Main scores. Based on this provisional merit list seat allocation will be done.

Step 4: GUJCET Seat Allotment 2025

Authorities will assign seats based on GUJCET 2025 and JEE Main result 2025 . Candidates can check the result of the GUJCET seat allotment 2025 by checking in with their User ID and password. Those who are selected for admission will get a GUJCET seat allotment letter.

Candidates who are satisfied with their seat allocation must pay a fee to freeze their seats. Payment can be made online (through net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline (at the nearest Kotak Mahindra Bank). Only when payment is received will the GUJCET admission slip 2025 will be generated. Applicants who are dissatisfied with their seats will be eligible to participate in subsequent rounds of counseling and GUJCET 2025 seat allotment.

Step 5 - Reporting to Allotted Institutes

After locking their seats and paying the required fees, candidates must go to their assigned institute to finish the admission process. Candidates must bring their admission slip, payment receipt/challan, information letter, and other papers with them when they report to the assigned institute from the GUJCET participating college 2025.

Choice Filling and Choice Locking in GUJCET

Once the GUJCET 2025 counselling and seat allotment are done GSEB will start choice filling and choice locking. To do GUJCET 2025 choice filling, log in to your account and select the course and college of your choice for admission. The User ID, password, and 14-digit PIN are required for account login. Applicants will have the ability to add, delete, switch, and relocating options.

Candidates will proceed to the choice-locking phase after completing the GUJCET choice-filling process. Select all of the options and then enter the 14-digit PIN to submit your course and college preferences. To make any modifications to the locked options, click on the "Unlock selections" button.

GUJCET 2025 Document Verification

Candidates must validate their documentation for the GUJCET 2025 counselling procedure before the start of lectures. It will be a procedure for only the candidates who have been assigned seats. Following the verification of documents, applicants must report to their respective universities to fulfill the remaining admission processes. Candidates must bring the following documents for the GUJCET 2025 document verification round.

  • GUJCET result
  • Class 10 mark sheet
  • Class 12 mark sheet
  • Physically handicapped certificate for PWD candidates
  • Certificate of ex-serviceman
