What is XAT Cut Off 2025?

XAT cutoff is the minimum mark required by candidates to get selected to a college. Each XAT participation colleges release the cutoff after the XAT 2025 result declaration. Candidates who took the XAT 2025 must score higher than the XAT cutoff to be included in the final selection process. The authority assigns different XAT cut-off marks to male and female candidates. Furthermore, if a candidate has a non-technical background, the XLRI cutoff scores will differ from those of applicants with engineering experience.

XLRI Jamshedpur will release the XAT cutoff 2025 for PGDM Business Management (BM) and Human Resource Management (HRM) programs following the declaration of the result. Candidates will be shortlisted for the GD-PI Round based on their XAT cutoff marks in 2025. Using your login credentials, you can check your GD-PI data and status on the official website (XAT ID and DOB).

XAT Cutoff 2025 Determining Factors

The XAT cutoff for male and female candidates in 2025 is different. Furthermore, the XAT XLRI cutoff for applicants with engineering backgrounds and non-engineering backgrounds given by XLRI differs. The Xavier School of Management (XLRI) evaluates numerous determinants before the declaration of the XAT 2025 cutoff. Following the announcement of the XAT results for XAMI and non-XAMI institutes, an XAT study of the factors/determinants is done to finalize the XAT 2025 cutoff. The factors listed below will help determine the sectional cutoff and overall XAT cutoff for 2025:

  • Number of XAT 2025 Applicants: If there are more applications, then the cutoff for XAT 2025 will be higher.
  • The Examination Difficulty Level: If the XAT 2025 questions are set with a greater difficulty level, the XAT 2025 cutoff will be placed on the lower side in this situation. The degree of complexity is an important factor to consider when determining the XAT 2025 cutoff.
  • Total Seat Availability: Given the availability of seats, the XAT sectional cutoff is established accordingly. If the number of seats is larger than the number of applications, this signifies that the XAT 2025 cutoff is at the lower end. If there are fewer seats and more applicants, the higher side of the XAT cutoff 2025 will be set.
  • XAT Cutoff of the Previous Year: When determining the XAT 2025 cutoff, XLRI will use previous year cutoffs.

What After XAT Cutoff?

Applicants can enter their XAT ID and password to view their XAT 2025 results. In addition to the overall score and percentile, the XAT exam result will be provided as a scorecard that includes the percentage and percentile for each section. The XAT cutoff is prepared by taking into account multiple factors and will include a section-wise cut-off as well as the overall cut-off for different categories. Candidates may apply to the XAT participating colleges by visiting the websites of each college if they meet the XAT cutoff. The shortlisted candidates will be invited to further selection rounds, which may include the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI), and the respective colleges will publish the list of shortlisted candidates on their website. The final selection criteria encompass XAT exam score, Graduation marks, Class 10th and 12th marks, work experience (if applicable), and academic diversity.

Which XAT College to Choose for MBA Admission?

Students are authorized to select MBA programs that correspond most closely to their requirements and preferences. However, before choosing the best XAT Participating Institutes, a number of factors need to be taken into account. The following recommendations can be used to select the top college on the XAT college list:
  • Students need to assess the accepting institution's reputation in the realm of education.
  • Students must also check the colleges' rankings and accreditation.
  • Candidates need to take into account the facilities and infrastructure that are offered by the participating institutes.
  • Applicants can assess the institution's placement history.
  • Students should also consider the institution's faculty, location, and admission fees.
  • If a student has any questions, they should speak with the admissions office and ask other students and alumni for feedback.
