Reading Comprehension

The Reading Comprehension section with 13 questions, focuses on passages where candidates must read the text to answer related questions. A passage is provided, followed by five questions. He paused briefly, puzzled as to why she didn’t come closer. Driven by hunger, he finally lunged at the fish. With a loud cry, he plunged downward into the open sky. His mother soared above him. As he fell beneath her, he heard the rush of her wings. Suddenly, overwhelming fear gripped him, and his heart nearly stopped. He couldn't hear anything. But the fear only lasted a moment. In the next instant, his wings instinctively spread out. The wind pressed against his chest feathers, then beneath his stomach, and against his wings. He could feel the tips of his wings slicing through the air. He was no longer falling but gliding smoothly downward and outward.

His fear vanished. He only felt a slight dizziness. Then, he flapped his wings and began to soar upwards. He let out a joyous cry and flapped them again, rising higher. He lifted his chest and turned against the wind. His mother swooped past him, her wings making a loud sound. He responded with another joyful scream.

Jumbled Paragraphs

There are 2 questions requiring candidates to rearrange a set of sentences into a coherent paragraph. You will be provided with five sentences or paragraphs. The sentence/paragraph labeled A is correctly placed. The remaining four, labeled B, C, D, and E, need to be rearranged to form a coherent paragraph or passage. Select the most logical sequence from the given options.

Correction of Errors in Sentences

With 3 questions, this section assesses the candidate's grammar skills by asking them to correct sentences. For each question, a sentence is provided with an underlined portion.
