Work Experience

Payal Biswas has more than 4 years of experience in content writing. At present, she is working with Collegedekho.com as a Content Writer. She has worked with Kolkata-based and Bangalore-based writing agencies and learned different areas of creative and content writing with them. While working with Einfolingua services as a freelancer, Payal worked on different NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) projects and learned to prepare coursebooks. She has also worked in a govt. aided school as a part-time English teacher and worked there for 1.5 years.

Payal has been dedicated and trustworthy in all the organizations she worked for. She is always ready to learn new things, and take on new challenges for the betterment of the organization. 

Educational Qualifications

Payal has done her Master's in English from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. She has been graduated in English from the prestigious Calcutta University. Apart from that, she has also done a Post-Graduate Diploma in Creative Writing from IGNOU. She qualified for the state-level Teacher Eligibility Test in 2012 and passed the School Service Examination as well. But unfortunately, due to some legal cases made against that panel she didn't get the job. Since then, she has devoted herself to the field of writing. She believes, apart from teaching writing in the academic field is the sole way to stay connected to the students.

She has a zeal for Story Telling. During the corona pandemic, she learned the art of puppet making from the Applied Theatre India Foundation, Pune, Maharashtra. She attended a storytelling workshop conducted by a Chennai-based renowned storyteller Banumathy.  Payal has participated in different storytelling competitions as well. To exist in the writing field she is continuously nurturing herself with new learnings. 

Hobbies

Payal loves reading books, trekking, cooking, and making different recyclable things. She loves to write poems as well. 

Future Prospects

Writing is her passion. Payal believes that she is one of those lucky ones who have made their passion into a profession. Therefore, she wants to contribute more and more to the world of writing.
