When I am not writing, I can be found reading off-course because, logically, writing requires lots of research. Before my career in writing, I was best known as “a woman with great fashion etiquettes”. I am an extrovert, also quite sometimes, fun-loving, basically mix and match of almost every attribute. I am quite a fashionista and love to dress up. I also enjoy playing hide and seek. However, life is full of discovering yourself. Hence, I did it for myself for the past few years. 

I graduated in Fashion and Designing from the University of Mysore, Karnataka to become a successful Fashion designer. I opted for this course because I was unaware of accomplishing a career as a writer. After all, being a designer was my second choice. The writer always remained first. But who knows destiny had another plan for me. I have always dreamt of people spending their precious time reading what I have penned down. Look, here you are! :D

I started writing about fashion and lifestyle during my graduation course. As we all know, "Time stops for no one. Accordingly, I continue writing in every niche that came along my way.

After the placements of my college, I worked with a senior Journalist and Editor of a fashion magazine as a Reporter cum Sub-editor. I am passionate about writing that compels readers to take a specific action. I experienced a lot of challenges while I was in this Internship. My parents always wanted to see me as a Designer, and that’s what they have dreamed of. However, I completed the Internship and returned to designing again.

I started to work in a menswear brand as a designer. But Afterall I still had a dream of being a writer. Hence, within the organisation, I started writing blogs on their website and handling the designing part. Now I was feeling ALIVE:) WOW. I didn't realise it until now, but I had a story to inspire many, who are struggling to choose a career between their passion and other materialistic opinions. I always believe in making a difference in what I can do.

Moving forward, I finally decided to take my writing career a step forward. I opted for a PG Diploma course in 2019 from NIIT, Delhi, with a specialization in Digital Marketing and Branding. I learned Digital Marketing and various techniques to develop engaging content. The most effective part of my career started amidst COVID Lockdown 2020. That was the duration when I started freelancing with various organisations and explored myself a bit more. My major areas of writing were Hospitality, academics, lifestyle, marketing, and business. 

And now this continues for forever. Me, being a writer. Working with freelancing clients help me a lot to recognize the target audience and brush my skills which is now helping me throughout my entire career. After the lockdown lifted, I started working as a content writer in a Digital Marketing agency, Noida. The experience I gained in that company astonished me very differently. I learned a very meaningful strategy to curate content and developed a hands-on experience with video editing software as well. Talking about the responsibilities, I was responsible for managing website, newsletter, and Email marketing content.

My professional experience of 2+ years gives me the edge to develop engaging content. Right now I am employed as a Content Writer with CollegeDekho, Girnarsoftr. I am majorly responsible to developing educational-based content, where my target audience is student providing them with meaningful facts and insights of global universities and colleges. I am highly delighted to be part of the core content team. I am sure about the opportunities and learnings I will have throughout my journey with the CollegeDekho team. 

Moreover, I am passionately looking forward to learning more besides the content because I have always been excited to learn new things. We will one day become dinosaurs if we stop learning. But we all can become a Zebra that will allow us to harness our skills and build a better life.
