Puneet is a passionate, creative and fast learner who is presently working with CollegeDekho as a senior content writer. In his small journey of 1.5 years being a content writer, Puneet has learnt what we know is a droplet, what we don’t know is an ocean. Apart from writing, his heart beats for sports. He is a die-hard fan of Chelsea Football Club and Eden Hazard. 

Talking about his educational qualification, Puneet completed his schooling in the commerce stream from St.Xavier’s School, Shahbad Daulatpur, Delhi. He then pursued B.A. (H) English from Shivaji College, Delhi University. This is where he figured out his passion and interest in writing. To further learn the art of writing and polish his skills, Puneet pursued an MA in Journalism and Mass Communication from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. 

It was during his postgraduate studies, he learned the skill of writing content. While most of his classmates wanted to work in front of the camera, he wanted to work in the backend. So, the best option available to him for expressing his views and showcasing his talent is being a content writer.

Prior to joining CollegeDekho, Puneet worked as a content writer for an ed-tech firm. He also worked as a freelance content writer and editor in different niches such as sports, education, market research etc. He worked with Sportskeeda as a guest writer and contributed more than 40 articles. Moreover, his research papers “Disheartening Shadow of Indian Cricket on Other Sports” and “Cricket Celebrated as the Only Sports in India: An Analysis'' got published in the ArmChair Journal and International Journal of Science and Research (IJSR) respectively.

Keeping aside his professional life, Puneet has been a national-level football player. He had represented Delhi state twice. Further, he was captain of his college football team and university team. Under his leadership, his college football team won numerous accolades. Puneet gives major credit to football for shaping his beliefs in life. Numerous heartbreak faced in the field has nurtured him to deal with adversities efficiently. He still plays football during the weekends. 

During his free time, Puneet likes to work out, read books and watch sports. Whenever he is stressed or tense, a 3-5 km run makes him calm and more focused. He is a typical Asian football fan who wakes up till 2:30 or 3:30 to see his favourite team win, but not all the time. Don’t be surprised if he starts a conversation about football with you. When we talk about social media, Puneet has a bitter-sweet relationship. Most of the time he prefers to stay away from social media platforms. For 9 months in a year, he is absent from social media and for the rest of 3, he is there for the sake of it. 

The future goals of Puneet are vivid. He wants to contribute to the growth of Indian football by opening a football academy for talented kids. He aims to train and produce quality football players who will represent the Indian national football team. The first step has already been taken as Puneet has enrolled in the Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) programme. To get in-depth knowledge about coaching and managing, he has planned to pursue coaching licences offered by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) in the near future. 

Puneet believes in honesty and hard work and he believes love is the language we all should preach. He learns from his mistakes and makes sure he is there for everyone when they are in need. Puneet's motto is to learn and improve himself with each passing day. He believes that perfection is always one step ahead of us, but that does not mean we stop chasing it. Patience is his biggest strength. He holds expertise in working under stressful conditions and tight deadlines. With his captain-cool attitude, he has excelled in high-pressure situations. 

He has high expectations from his new journey with CollegeDekho. Puneet endeavours to become a valuable member of the team and ensure he contributes to the success and growth of the company. He is obliged to receive such a warm welcome from his team members.
