The CAT 2024 exam will be conducted on November 24, 2024, the last Sunday of November 2024. The date has been officially announced by the conducting authority on July 28, 2024.
The CAT 2024 admit card will be released on November 5, 2024 on the official website of the conducting authority. Only those applicants who will successfully register for the exam will be able to download the admit card. Applicants are not permitted to ask for any modification of the examination centre once the admit card is released. They must therefore choose the test location or city cautiously on the CAT 2024 application form.
The CAT 2024 answer key and response sheet will be released within five to eight days after the exam. Candidates can estimate their probable exam raw score with the help of the response sheet. Applicants will have three to four days to complain to the official CAT answer key during the answer key objection window. For this, they must fill out an online form, provide a supporting document attesting to the object's validity, and pay the required fee.
The CAT result 2024 will be declared most likely in January 2025, as indicated based on the analysis of previous years. Using their login ID and password, candidates can get the CAT exam scorecard in downloadable PDF format on the official website of the conducting authority. Each candidate's raw scores (sectional and total) and percentiles (section and overall) will be included in the CAT exam result cum scorecard.
Applicants can start applying for the CAT 2024 exam from August 1, 2024. The application process will close on September 13, 2024. The conducting IIM i.e. IIM Calcutta released the application schedule on July 28, 2024. The application process window will be open for 1.5 months.
Candidates should start preparing for the CAT exam from late February to early March.
