The Joint Admission Board (JAB) has revised the previous eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced 2025. In a press release on November 18, 2025. JAB announced a reduction in the number of attempts to two, reverting to the format used since 2013, after briefly increasing it to three on November 5, 2025. All other eligibility criteria will remain unchanged, and no further modifications have been announced at this time.
The exam pattern of JEE Advanced Exam 2025 states that the exam will be computer-based test (CBT) conducted in two papers, each of three hours duration.
