SBI Clerk 2024 Eligibility Criteria

SBI Clerk 2024 Eligibility Criteria includes the conditions that must be fulfilled by all the applicants in terms of nationality, age limit, and educational qualification. All candidates for the SBI Clerk have to ensure that they fulfill the required SBI Clerk eligibility criteria 2024 before filling out the application form. Applicants' eligibility will be checked at various stages in the recruitment process and if a candidate fails to meet the given eligibility criteria, he/she will be disqualified from the recruitment process. SBI Clerk 2024 Nationality Criteria

The candidate aspiring to qualify for SBI Clerk 2024 is required to be a Citizen of India. For this, the applicant will have to provide a relevant document justifying the same. 

SBI Clerk 2024 Educational Qualification

  • The candidate should have a graduation degree in any stream or equivalent qualification from a recognised university as approved by the Central Government.

  • Candidates with Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31st August 2024.

  • Candidates applying for SBI Clerk  have to note the following points:

    • The date of passing the eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark sheet/certificate or a provisional certificate issued by the University/Institute. If the result of a particular examination is posted on the University/ Institute website, the certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the University/Institute indicating the date on which the result was posted on the website will be taken as the date of passing.

    • After completing the service of the armed forces of the Union in less than 15 years, matriculating in the Navy or the Air Force, special forces or ex-soldiers receiving relevant certificates will also be eligible for the post. Such certificates should be dated on or before 1st January 2024.

SBI Clerk 2024 Age Limit

Age Limit (to be calculated as on August 01, 2023):

The applicant should not be less than 20 years of age and the upper age limit is 28 years i.e. the birth date of the candidates must not be earlier than 2nd August 1994 and not later than 1st August 2002( including both the days)

*Candidates, who want to avail the benefits of age relaxation as prescribed in the table given above, will have to submit copies of necessary certificates at the time of joining, if qualified. Such candidates will not be permitted to change their categories after registration. There are no provisions for Cumulative relaxation under any circumstances for clubbing in either of the relaxation periods mentioned above.

Yes, final year graduates are also eligible to apply for this position. However, before the final selection, the candidate must provide proof of graduation on or before August 31, 2023.
