Established in 1969, Jammu University is recognised as 'A' grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The University is primarily a research, teaching, affiliating, examining body involved in promotion of science, arts and other branches of learning. The university is also responsible to admit, recognise, and affiliate colleges and other institutions.
