• The JEE Advanced mock test will include three sections and have a total duration of three hours.
• As soon as the candidate begins the test, the timer will begin.
• The "Submit" button, which is located at the bottom right corner of the screen, will be inactive for the full 180 minutes of the paper. The "Submit" button will be enabled only when the countdown reaches zero, and the saved responses will be uploaded automatically.
• Candidates can maximise the question window by collapsing the question panel by clicking on the ">" arrow symbol that displays to the left of the question panel.
• At the beginning of the JEE Advanced mock test, students must select the default language; however, during the exam, they can change the default language by clicking on the profile image in the upper right corner of the computer screen. Candidates will have the ability to choose the default language used to see questions when they click on their profile picture.

Navigating Through Parts/ Sections of the JEE Advanced Mock Test 2026

• The JEE Advanced 2026 mock test sections and parts will be visible at the top of the screen. By selecting the relevant part's name, questions included within that section can be viewed.
• Candidates will be automatically transferred to the first question of the next part or section after using the "Save & Next" button on the final question of a part or section.

• To navigate between questions, candidates will have to follow the following steps:
• To move directly to a specific question, click on the question number in the Question Palette at the right of the screen. Please take note that selecting this option will not store the current question's response, if one has been provided. You must select "Save & Next" in order to save the response.
• Click the "Save & Next" option to save the current question's answer and move on to the next question.
• If you want to mark it for review (with or without providing an answer) and move on to the next question, click the "Mark for Review & Next" button.

JEE Advanced Mock Test: Answering a Question

• To change the answer of a particular question that has already been answered, if required, first click on the “Clear Response” button to delete the saved answer and then follow the procedure for answering that type of question.

• To mark a question for review (after answering it), click on the “Mark for Review & Next” button – the answered question which is also marked for review will be evaluated.
