JEE Main 2025 Application Form Correction Window for Session 1 was available to make edits till November 27, 2024, at jeemain.nta.nic.in. NTA opened the JEE Main 2025 Application Form Correction Link on November 26, 2024.The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been closed for registration on November 22, 2024, for the upcoming JEE Main 2025 exam scheduled for January 22 to 31, 2025. The application process for the JEE Main comprises four steps: i) JEE Main Registrations; ii) Filling out the JEE Main application form; iii) Uploading documents; and iv) Payment of the application fee. The direct link to make changes in the JEE Main Application Form 2025 is provided below.

Candidates were allowed to fill out the JEE Main 2025 application form till 9:00 PM and pay the application fees by 11:50 PM on November 22, 2024. On the other hand, NTA has announced the application correction dates for the registered candidates. 

On the other hand, the JEE Main Session 2 application form will be released on January 31, 2025, and will remain active for registrations till February 24, 2025. The male candidate falling under the category of UR/OBC/EWS from India has to pay INR 1000 as an application fee, whereas the female candidates from UR/OBC/EWS have to pay INR 800 as an application fee. However, the SC/STPwD/Transgender category candidate has to pay INR 500 as application fees to appear for the JEE Main exam 2025.

To register for the JEE Main exam 2025, candidates have to meet the JEE Main eligibility criteria 2025. The basic criteria to fill out the JEE Main Online Form 2025 is to hold a higher secondary (10+2) degree. There is no age limit to appear for the JEE Main exam; however, the candidates must have qualified for the 10+2 exam within the 3 consecutive years. (a) If a candidate receives the following message / Pop-up after selecting “Confirm Name as per Aadhaar”, the candidate should close (X) in the message/pop-up box:

(b) On closing the above message / Pop-up box, a new window will appear on the screen to proceed with Aadhaar authentication. In this step, candidates must enter their name exactly as it appears on their Aadhaar card.

(c) Both the name on the Educational certificate and the Aadhaar card will be captured during this process, allowing the candidate to continue with the application form."

Who can fill JEE Main Application Form 2025

JEE Main 2025 Application Form Correction Window

NTA conducts the JEE Main 2025 Application Correction process, allowing candidates to make edits to their application form through the website: jeemain.nta.nic.in. Applicants who complete and submit the JEE Main Application Form before the deadline are only permitted to make adjustments (if any) to the form. It must be noted that not all the sections of information provided in the form can be edited at the candidates’ end. Details that can be Edited in JEE Main Application Form

The following details can be edited while correcting the JEE Main application form - 

• Personal Details: Spelling mistakes in name and parent's name can be corrected
• Academic Details: School details, qualifying exam details, and marks scored can be edited during the correction form window.
• Choice of paper: If candidates have applied for Paper 1 and wish to apply for both papers, they can do so at the time of correction by paying the remaining fees.
• Language of medium: Candidates can change their language of medium from English/Hindi to any regional language.

Total Number of Candidates Registered for JEE Main 2024 Session 1 (January)

According to official data, there has been a surge in the number of registrations for JEE Session 1 2024 when compared to the previous year.
