The candidates can check the result of BITSAT by logging in with the help of their registered login credentials like the BITSAT application number and password. Those who qualify the BITSAT 2024 exam will be considered eligible for admission to any of the BITS campuses through the BITSAT Counselling 2024. The BITSAT Ranks 2024 are decided based on the marks secured in the entrance examination. The total score is calculated by adding the scores secured in the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics sections. The rank is calculated by comparing the total marks of the candidate with scores obtained with the other candidates appearing for the exam.
On certain occasions, it may so happen that two or more candidates end up scoring the same marks in the BITS Admission Test 2024, resulting in a tie that may make it difficult to determine their BITSAT ranks. In case of a tie between candidates, the authorities will follow the below-mentioned rule -
In case there is a tie, students with higher scores in Maths/Biology will be given prevalence.
If the tie still persists, the candidate with a higher score in Physics will be given preference.
In case the tie is still there, the candidate with higher marks in Chemistry will be given an advantage.
Lastly, if the tie still exists, PCM/PCB marks in class XII will be taken into account to resolve the tie.
After the BITSAT result is declared, the authorities will announce the cutoff. The candidates who qualify the BITSAT 2024 Cutoff will be called in for the counselling session. Moreover, the counselling will include steps such as iteration round, seat allotment, etc. The selected candidates must attend the counselling on the allotted date and time. There are several campuses that accept the BITSAT score. The campuses accepting it are Pilani, Hyderabad, Goa, and Dubai.
The exam authorities will publish individual merit lists for the B.Pharma course and the remaining programmes. The BITSAT Merit List 2024 will be prepared based on the candidate's performance in the admission test. BITS Pilani will assign the ranks based on the candidate's performance in the BITS Admission Test 2024. If two candidates receive the same score, a tie-breaking procedure will be used. In the event of a tie, the results earned in Mathematics/Biology (B.Pharma) and Physics for other courses shall take precedence.
The BITSAT 2024 Merit List for admission is prepared based on several factors apart from BITSAT 2024 scores. Candidates must take note of the following -
The candidate should have scored a minimum of 75% marks in Class 12 in aggregate and a minimum of 60% in each subject (Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics).
The candidate should submit his/her application for admission with Class 12 marks and his/her course preference as per the given schedule.
The merit list is prepared based on the scores of BITSAT 2024. There are two merit lists – one for B.Pharm and the other for courses except for B.Pharm.

The BITSAT cutoff will be prepared and released soon by the BITS Pilani administration. Through the BITSAT 2024 Cutoff, applicants will be able to know about the minimum score needed for admission. To get enrolled, candidates must have the minimum BITSAT 2024 cutoff score or higher. The cutoff will be established based on a number of aspects of the entrance exam. Soon after the official BITSAT Counselling Iteration result is announced, the BITSAT 2024 cutoff will be made public. For programmes offered at BITS Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad, candidates who appear in both sessions of BITSAT 2024 must submit an Admission Application Form and their 12th grades.

The waitlist for BITSAT 2024 shall be available in an online mode on the official website. The candidates whose names do not appear on the admit list will be there on the BITSAT Wait List 2024. Those candidates must wait for the next iteration to know about the status of their admission.
The BITSAT Admit List 2024 shall be structured based on the marks scored by the candidates in the examination. The candidates who will be shortlisted will be allowed to appear for the counselling session. BITS Pilani will announce the admit list before the commencement of each iteration. One who gets shortlisted must submit the admission application before the due date.
