What’s New in NEET MDS 2025 Exam Pattern?

The National Board of Education (NBE) has unveiled the NEET MDS Syllabus and Exam Pattern for 2025 on its official website. Currently, no alterations are anticipated in the NEET MDS Exam Pattern. As outlined in the NEET MDS 2025 paper pattern, the examination will comprise a total of 240 multiple-choice questions and will be conducted in online mode. English will be the sole medium of instruction for the NEET MDS Exam 2025. As of now, there is no notification regarding the NEET MDS 2025 exam pattern. • Medium of the NEET MDS Examination: English is the only language option for candidates wishing to appear for NEET MDS.

• Number and type of questions: The total number of questions in the NEET MDS examination will be 240. All these questions will be objective type, that is, for every question, a candidate will have four response options. They must only choose the correct answer from these four options.

• As per the exam schedule, the NEET MDS 2025 exam will be conducted on April 19, 2025. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the NEET MDS 2025 exam date through a common exam calendar on the official website. The candidates must also know that no other exam schedule has been announced apart from the exam date. This year, the NBEMS has announced a change in the NEET MDS 2025 exam pattern and structure, introducing time-bound sections for different question sets. NBE will release the NEET MDS 2025 exam pattern along with the information brochure which is expected in the fourth week of January 2025. The exam is likely to take place in the third week of March 2025. 

• The NEET MDS examination 2025 will consist of 5 mandatory time-bound sections (A, B, C, D & E), with 40 questions in each section.

• The total time duration for each section is 42 minutes. After the time for a section ends, the candidates will not be able to revisit or review any questions from that section.
• The candidates cannot proceed to the next section until the allotted time for the current section is completed. The next section will start automatically once the time is up for the previous one.
• The exam clock is synchronized with the server. The ‘countdown timer’ at the top right corner of the screen will display the remaining time for the current section. Once the timer reaches zero, the system will automatically switch to the next section. The candidates must be careful while taking the NEET MDS 2025 exam.
