CLAT Admit Card 2025 was launched on November 15, 2024. To obtain the admit card, students who registered for the entrance exam have to log in to their CLAT account at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. 

The exam date for CLAT 2025 is December 1, 2024. Please note that it is mandatory to carry the hall ticket along with an authorised Government-issued photo ID card on the exam day. The admit card must be retained by the students after the entrance exam as well, as it may be required to check the results and during the counselling process. The candidates can follow the simple steps mentioned below to fill the admission preferences for CLAT 2025 –

  • Candidates need to visit the official website of the CLAT 2025.
  • They must login by entering the mobile number and password.
  • Once they have logged in, they must click on the “Update Preferences” tab. 
  • They need to fill 5 preferences (at least) and submit the preferences. 
  • Once done, they can now download the admit card via the “Download Admit Card” link.

The CLAT 2025 admit card will include the candidate's name, address, and other vital information. The candidate's personal information is used to identify the candidate at the examination centre, so it must be accurate and consistent with the information the candidate provided when registering.

The following details can be found on the admit card - 

  • Candidate's name, their category, date of birth, parent or guardian's name of the applicant, and communication address.
  • Passport size photograph of the candidate and signature.
  • Exam date of CLAT 2025, time of CLAT examination, Reporting time
  • Address of examination location.
  • Roll number/admit card number.
  • Degree programme's name which the candidate has chosen. It clarifies whether the admit card is for UG CLAT or PG CLAT.
  • Pre-exam instructions and medical self-declaration.

After the CLAT 2025 admit card is issued, the candidates must make sure that all the information available in the CLAT 2025 admit card matches with that of the information provided to them during the CLAT 2025 registration process. CLAT officials never rule out the possibility of errors in the CLAT admit cards which is why the candidates can reach out to the CLAT officials if they find any discrepancies in the admit card of CLAT 2025. Important Points to Remember Regarding CLAT 2025 Admit Card

Here are some instructions that exam-takers must follow - 

  • Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall without a valid admit card & ID proof.
  • No hard copy of the CLAT 2025 Admit Card will be sent to the candidates.
  • The admit card of CLAT 2025 will be issued only in online mode only.
  • Candidates will have to carry a personal hand sanitizer (50 ml), a personal transparent water bottle, a mask, pen and gloves.
  • The phone of the candidate will be deposited outside.
  • Candidate details like name of the candidate, date of birth, roll number, exam date, time and testing location are mentioned in the CLAT 2025 admit card.
  • Candidates must carefully verify all the details mentioned in the CLAT 2025 admit card.
  • In case of any mistake or discrepancy in the CLAT admit card, candidates must bring it to the notice of CLAT officials and get the same rectified before the entrance exam.
  • Applicants who do not have a CLAT 2025 hall ticket will not be entitled to take the exam.
  • Applicants must present their admit card and photo ID evidence for verification at the CLAT test centre.
  • Candidates must follow all directions mentioned on the hall ticket / admit card.
  • Participants must arrive at the exam centre on time.
  • They should go to the exam centre the day before the exam to locate the exam location pre-hand.
  • This is important so that they don't have any difficulties locating the exam centre on the test day and end up wasting time.
  • In the event of an unpredictable situation resulting in the cancellation of a Test city or centre or an insufficient or excessive number of candidates opting to appear from a specific Test Centre, the Convenor, CLAT 2025, reserves the right to cancel such a City/ Centre and transfer the applicant to another City/ Centre.

Exam Centre Update Option in CLAT 2025 Admit Card

The Consortium may provide the aspirants to update their test centre options for CLAT. The Consortium will not entertain any further requests for the changes after the deadline. During this window, candidates can evaluate their application form and alter their name, date of birth, and reservations. The applicants need to log in and use the 'Print Application' button to verify the application. To make changes to the application form, they need to click the 'Edit Application' option.

Here is the process - 

  • Aspirants need to sign in to their CLAT account.
  • To edit the application, select the 'Edit Application' link.
  • Navigate towards the 'Preferences' tab.
  • Update the three test centre preferences as needed.
  • To go to the 'Reservation' tab, click the Next button.
  • Scroll down, accept the declaration, and then press the Submit Form option.

Errors in CLAT 2025 Admit Card

After downloading it, applicants must double-check all of the information on their CLAT 2025 admit card. The following items should correspond to the CLAT 2025 application form information.

  • The admit card should have the Roll number mentioned on it.
  • The candidate's name should be spelled correctly.
  • The date of birth (DOB) mentioned on the admit card must match that on the CLAT 2025 application form and official documentation.
  • The birth date should be correct.
  • The applicant's photo and signature must be visible.
  • The test city mentioned on the admit card must be selected from options provided on the application form or the one the authorities have assigned to the candidate.
  • The candidates must clarify from the authorities to avoid confusion before the exam day about any test location changes issued to them.

Candidates have to bring any one of the following identity proofs along with the admit card on the day of the CLAT entrance exam:

CLAT 2025 Exam Day Guidelines

The Consortium of NLUs published the CLAT exam day guidelines along with the admit card. Applicants must carefully read and follow all guidelines to gain easy access to the exam hall. Some important exam day guidelines for CLAT 2025 are provided below -

  • Aspirants must enter the premises of the respective Test Centres by 1:00 p.m. and be seated in the Examination Hall by 1:30 p.m. in the respective seats of the Examination Hall.
  • Candidates will not be permitted to leave the Examination Hall before 4 p.m. once they have entered it.
  • Latecomers will not be permitted to enter the Examination Hall after 2:15 p.m.
  • On the front page of the OMR Response Sheet, candidates must sign and fill in all the details such as Admit Card No., Question Paper Booklet No.
  • Before marking the answers, candidates must check all the pages and questions in their Question Booklet to ensure they are correctly printed.
  • If something is missing, incorrectly printed, or damaged, the Invigilator may be asked to provide another Sealed Plastic Envelope containing a new Question Booklet and OMR Response Sheet.
  • All questions must be answered only on the OMR Response Sheet.
  • Candidates should take care when handling the OMR Response Sheet.
  • Under no circumstances should candidates fold, wrinkle, or tear the OMR Response Sheet.
  • At 4 p.m., the candidates must stop writing and return the OMR Response Sheet to the Invigilator.
