12 students of National PG College have bagged an opportunity to work with Lucknow Development Authority (LDA). The PG diploma students of remote sensing and geographic information system will map planning & management of the city on the basis of its water crisis and development index.
Selections were made on the basis of their ability to work on ` Arc GIS', a software for geographic information system (GIS) used for creating, compiling geographic data, analysing mapped information, sharing, discovering and managing geographic information in a database. “Students will work with the authority for six months,“ said Ritu Jain, a faculty member, adding that the exercise will help the students spot the location easily.
With the efforts of the college administration and hard work of the students, the college is scaling new heights every year. The college functions on the single motto of imparting quality education to the quantity by inculcating the virtue of being a good human with the sense of discipline.
The College has the honor of interacting with students from developed countries. A group of Japanese students recently came to interact with the students of National P.G.College and shared their experiences about learning Hindi.
