Based on last year’s pattern, it is expected that the cutoff for Physical Science might decrease this year. The decrease shall be observed with a similar margin as of 2021 and 2022 for all categories, making it 2% easier to crack WB SET 2023. After the analysis, the expected cutoff can be 48.67 for General, 43.33 for EWS, 44 for OBC-A, 45.67 for OBC-B, 40.67 for SC, and 51.33 for ST . All these are estimates, and unofficial. The official cutoff, once decided will be released at wbcsc.org.in. According to UGC policy, the top 6% of the applicants who pass the examination will make it to the merit list.
