26th WB SET Expected Cutoff Marks 2024 for General Category: West Bengal State Eligibility Test or WB SET is a significant examination organised by the West Bengal College Service Commission (WBCSC) to decide the eligibility of the aspirants for the job of Assistant Professor in different universities and colleges of West Bengal. To keep the quality of education high, this exam is very crucial because it filters out the quality of people who enter into the teaching profession. If you are a candidate preparing for the 26th WB SET in the General category, you will have to know the expected cutoff mark for 2024.

However, just like every other exam, there are cutoff marks which if not met, means that you did not pass, which in this case are used to denote the qualifying marks for the merit list which is open to only 6 percent of the candidates who had taken the exam. To pass for the general category, you will have to reach at least 40% aggregate in Paper 1 & Paper 2. The cut for marks will be declared along with the results of the exam and differ according to factors that include the difficulty of the exam, the number of participants and the number of seats available to teach.
