28 Students from Indian Army’s ‘Kashmir Super 30’ Crack JEE 2017

Indian Army’s ‘Kashmir Super 30’ has become successful again. A total number of 28 students from Kashmir Super 30 cracked JEE Mains & Advanced 2017 examination and are closer to make it to the IITs and NITs. All these students belong to economically weaker sections. Anand Kumar’s Super 30 in Bihar is an inspiration for Kashmir Super 30, and it is set up to support talented and underprivileged students of Kashmir by providing IIT JEE coaching. A total number of 40 students enrolled under this project.

Out of 40 students, 35 boys took coaching in Kashmir, and five girls were given coaching in Delhi/ NCR. Among them, 26 boys and 2 girls qualified in JEE Mains 2017 examination. All these students appeared for JEE Advanced 2017 examination, and nine students made it to IITs.

Mr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for Personnel & Lok Sabha MP from Jammu & Kashmir felicitated all 28 students and indicated that these students have set an example before others to follow. He also appreciated Indian Army for its exceptional contribution. Hailing the Indian Army, Mr. Jitendra Singh said that people are much indebted to Indian Army that serves the nation not only in the times of disturbance but also in times of peace by devoting their services in various situations like natural disasters.

Mr. Jitendra also mentioned that Kashmir has the best talents. Recently, 14 students from Jammu & Kashmir cracked civil services examination, he added.

Petrronet LNG Limited, Centre for Social Responsibility and Leadership (CSRL) and training partners, are guiding the students of Kashmir Super 30. The minister complimented all of them for their continuous support.
