
Around 40 degree colleges of Krishna District affiliated to Krishna University came forward to provide soft skills training to the outgoing senior students of the college. These colleges are ably supported by Krishna University in association with Andhra Pradesh Skills Development Organization.
Around 800 students of these colleges will be provided free soft skills training for the students. the training will be given by the resource persons appointed by the AP Skills development organization.
The following are the colleges which are selected for the skills development program;
- Krishna University-115 PG students
- SVL Kranthi Arts and Science College, Avanigadda-84 students
- Movva Degree College, Movva-75 students
- Gandhi Mahila Kalasala, Vijayawada-82 students
- Hindu college, Avanigadda
- ANR College, Gudivada
- Prabhas degree College, Vijayawada
- Avanigadda Government Degree College
- Dr college, Avanigadda
- KVR College, Nandigama
- Noble College, Machalipatnam
- Siddhartha College, Vijayawada and much more.
The training classes will commence in the third week of April as final exams are going on for degree and PG students right now. The vice chancellor of Krishna University advised the students to use this opportunity.
These colleges will also conduct placement drives after the completion of the training period and assure that a maximum number of students got placed in campus placements.
Only the students of final year UG or PG have to register for the training. The interested students have to pay a registration fee of Rs.200 at the respective colleges. However, SC and ST students are exempted from paying the fee. The students have to register by 10-April-2016 at college office. The venue and other details will be announced by the Krishna University later.
