Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) - Gujarat has decided to reserve 5% of seats in government B.Tech colleges will be reserved for students from other states. While 95% of seats in government colleges will be allocated to students of Gujarat domicile with a valid score in GUJCET , 50% of seats in private colleges will be filled under state quota by ACPC. Students from other states who wish to get admission in government B.Tech colleges in Gujarat must have a valid score in JEE Main.
ACPC will conduct the counselling process for B.Tech admission in Gujarat, and candidates who wish to get admission through 5% quota in government colleges will have to register through the ACPC website.
In order to make the admission process more convenient, ACPC has made the complete admission process online. The process where students need to buy a PIN and register for the counselling has been scrapped. Students can just register through basic details on the official website and generate User ID & Password. The ‘New User Registration’ for Gujarat B.Tech admission 2020 is yet to begin.
On the other hand, GUJCET 2020 exam , which is scheduled to be conducted on July 30, 2020, has been postponed. The exam has been rescheduled to August 22, 2020. In all probability, there will be no change in the exam date further.
