Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University has recently announced that they will start offering six new courses from the academic session 2017. According to the officials of the university, these courses will comprise a total of 190 seats for students who aspire to pursue them.

Following is the list of courses introduced by JMI University:
- Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM)
- MA in International Relations (West Asian Studies)
- Masters in Tourism and Travel Management (MTTM)
- LLM (Executive)
- Diploma in Pharmacy (Unani)
- Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM)
The courses mentioned above will all be self-financed by the university except for the MA (International Relations-West Asian Studies) course. All the courses will comprise a total of 30 seats. However, the Diploma in Pharmacy (Unani) will have a total of 40 seats.
Candidates willing to apply for either of these courses can get themselves registered for the 2017 batch. Eligibility criteria for the courses and means of admission will soon be announced by the university. Applications of all the eligible candidates will be considered by the university.

JMI University has also informed all aspiring students that the BA (Hons) programme in Hotel Management, Travel and Tourism fields will not be continued by the university.
Admission process for the term 2017 has already progressed at the JMI University. Students aspiring to get enrolled in either of the programmes offered by the university can apply through the official website of the university.
