77,308 Candidates Register for TS-ICET 2017, Exam on May 18

77,308 Candidates Register for TS-ICET 2017, Exam on May 18

Kakatiya University, the exam conducting authority of TS-ICET 2017 has made all the arrangements for the smooth conduct of the examination. The registrations for TS-ICET 2017 without late fee are over, and the examination will take place on May 18, 2017. Addressing a press conference at Kakatiya University, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sayanna revealed that the number of registrations increased this year. Compared to the previous year, there is an increase of 4,834 applications this year.

This year, a total number of 77,308 students registered for TS-ICET 2017 examination. The examination will take place in 132 centres across the state. As the latest development, the varsity introduced biometric attendance for the examination. The candidates need to punch in on the biometric system before entering the examination hall.

Giving instructions to the candidates, Prof. Sayanna explained that the examination would take place from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The candidates will have the permission to enter into the examination centre from 8:30 AM. While coming to the examination, the candidates need to bring the printout of TS-ICET 2017 hall ticket and application form. The candidates need to bubble the answers on the OMR sheet only with black ballpoint pen. No electronic gadgets are allowed into the examination centre, he added.

Prof. Sayanna also cautioned the candidates that they would not have permission to enter the examination hall even if they are late by one minute after 10:00 AM.

The varsity has constituted 132 chief superintendents, 155 local observers and 33 special observers to monitor the examination.

The candidates who still did not apply for TS-ICET 2017 can do the same by paying the late fee. Deadline to apply with late fee of Rs. 5,000 is May 8, 2017, and deadline to apply with late fee of Rs. 10,000 is May 14, 2017.
